LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Never tried dabs or moonrocks or none of the other crazy stuff that's out there now...but in my day I was doing everything but never shot black

Ok quick question...do they make different kelvin lights for hps ....mine just showed up and one on the right is bright as hell kinda yellow orange color one on left is kinda dim and a blueish color...maybe bad bulb?

To be honest judging by the picture it looks like one is metal halide and the other one is high pressure sodium but that's just by looking at the picture when you did your research what Calvin were you coming up with

. High pressure sodium bulbs run in between 2000 Calvin and 2200 Calvin this is its spectrum that it runs in because of the type of light that it is easiest way to explain this for me to explain it to you is to look at your T5 you can get soft white Warm White daylight a cool white light and this is all because each one of the present tubes has a different gas inside of it each gas produces its own color which gives it its Spectrum so you don't get as wide of a spectrum with high pressure sodium which you get more of an intense one of the right spectrum that you need for flowering and metal halide you get the right spectrum that you need for vegetation ask for LEDs LED you can find them being done in almost every color every frequency there is so many different options that's what makes LEDs so much fun my charts didn't help answer your question so hopefully this stuff in my brain made a little sense to you

Yea na I get the kelvin and all that but just need to know about these bulbs...which is which...I'm gonna pull bulbs out but don't see any stamping on them...if their both the same which is right the bright orange or the blueish one...idk I'm reading

Take pictures of the inside of the fused bulb and post it and I can give you the answer to whether they are the same or whether that one is a metal halide and one is a high pressure sodium

Idk I can't just run to a store and get a new bulb so now gotta wait on that so might just have to run the one light that's brighter for now I guess

Hey Skunk, I was always told to use something like a rubber glove when removing or replacing those bulbs. Something about finger oils could make them burn out sooner. Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

Ok while we trying to figure out my bulb problem on the website for these lights it says it has a 1000w digital ballast ...does this mean I can run higher than a 150w bulb?
