LMAO Cloning For Dummies

I also ise a 10 gallon bucket to mix up my nutes in when i Change the water. I figure even if i dont mix them up the best i have enough air pumping into the water to finish mixing it up

Some of my nutrient bottles go anywhere from a gallon to 2 and 1/2 gallons they're just nutrient bottles when I do my mixing I am doing 50 gallons of water at a time

Skunk he is using a hydro phonics set up I am almost positive this would be the reason he is mixing 10 gallons at a time because that is what the plant is sitting in I am pretty sure even though I don't have a clue what his setup is

You can't forget I'm running soil as much as I hate it and I'm running Coco and you know I love it my wife will always run the Hydroponics when it comes to Hydroponics she will whoop me every time

Hydro is a little bit easier than soil the hard part about Hydro is if something breaks down you can lose everything soil is a little harder you have to worry about the nutrients that are already in it what you're adding the aeration and more of a chance to get bugs I am not trying to say anything bad about soil they all have their place in time for me the only time I use soil is outside

Yea I'd like to try coco soon...but let me get some more knowledge under my belt first...I'd think if I could get good results in soil then coco should be a breeze? Yes or no

Oh yeah soil is harder than the Coco if you can do the Coco you can do the hydro but just give yourself time and when you're ready you're be ready and I'll walk you through it but take your time the less mistakes you make the more you learn I know most people think of it backwards but I like to sit here and watch everybody else's mistakes that way I don't have to make them there's still times that I screw things up when I go to trying something new but that's life

I'm growing in a hempy with coco. Pretty legit so far!

Coco has a lot of benefits when's that people really don't think of all that much Coco is very light and fluffy makes it very easy for the roots to move through they get plenty of oxygen the other thing that Coco likes to do is at least pathways through for the nutrients to actually flow through like small little channels and rivers the other thing I like about Coco is the fact that a lot of bugs don't like it it's not suitable for their reproduction this makes them a little discouraged as for soil full makes it harder for the simple fact that soil is harder and skill level and intensity which makes it hard for an oxygen get to get to the roots which means it holds more water and nutrients in side which brings me to the other when you're using your you never know really what the nutrient value is with Coco you know exactly what nutrients they are getting because you are the one giving it to them using soil when buying it there's always a chance that you can bring bugs in not necessarily the people that make the dirt fault what happens from truck to store to you sometimes is one that you don't want to really reuse where Coco after you're done flushing you can take it dry out and use it again I hope this sheds a little bit more light on it for you for all of you if I missed something let me know

Great explanation! The other cool part is you can amend it with EWC and some other goodies if you feel like coco is too hydro for your taste :)

A lot of sense sir....I put quite bit of perlite in this new batch of plants along with the new soil they seem to be loving it....nice green leaves... they smell great...seems to have normal yellowing of leaves unlike that other soil which I think was way too hot in nutes

Well done!! I'm gonna try a clone this week! Cross your fingers for me haha. Your post looks wonderful happy plants!

If you switch over to Coco which I'm not telling you to do because we each have our own this is just something else I thought of because of the amount of oxygen to the roots you will see a difference in the bud in shape and size and density it's a pretty cool trick to run one side by side but like you said there is hot spots in soil no matter what you do and then the one that I think did it for your last soil was that a fact that it was just way too heavy it was squishing the roots over a period of time all that dirt being watered starts to compress down on the roots right at the time that they need the most oxygen during flowering the one good thing that I can think of off the top of my head is the taste it cannot be replicated and it cannot be done with coco or Hydro there's stuff in the soil like decayed broken down grass decayed pine needles a mix of droppings from everything worm castings straight from the world an insect world that you would never want in your house

How the hell do I hold all this s*** in my head? I couldn't do this s*** in high school

Thanks maddabber...I was scared at first but imhigh walked me thru it and now I have it almost down...yea they take longer this way but no machines to worry about or domes or nothing...yea that's why I added more perlite this time...the last one really didn't have any...not sure if it helps or not idk
