Eh idk 4-5 years seems kind of excessive to me personally but that's probably because I've only been growing a bit over a year my damn self .
 
This is the reason I am asking because everybody gives me a different answer I have had answers as low as 4 weeks to train him and I have been told by people that they would never trust anybody in their Greenhouse I am basically trying to find a reasonable amount of time to push as much knowledge into his head as I can and then just turn him loose I have a contract with him so it's not like he's going very far and I think it would be very irresponsible for me to let him go on his own earlier than 3 years

After your year of running and growing plants would you trust yourself run in an actual dispensary?
 
Its a work down process. First grow you hover second grow back off just a bit by the third or forth grow he should be running it himself with a few questions
 
The way I see it is your training everyday your growing...always new stuff to learn ...so u can give him all the knowledge u can but he'll have to take it the rest of the way...like me ...y'all give me advise and opinions and options then I have to mix all those up in a bowl and throw my way in a lil bit and what best suites me and the supplies I have ...
 
I love your answer because it's pretty much the way I have it broken down in my head other than I am already starting to back off and let him do most of the work himself but for full crops would take about 3 years lol

Not at all but that's because Ive never grown large like that just small grows that are pretty basic. When I get somewhere with more space I'd like to commit an entire room and if I ever get somewhere friendly I'd like to do an outdoor as well. But yeah I wouldn't trust myself with a dispensary at all as I have no experience with it lol... I mean don't get me wrong it's not that I'm afraid I wouldn't make it to harvest after a year or training in a dispensary environment its that I don't currently know how that type of growing works lol and I'm sure there are learning curves I'd like to be taught but for someone who spends an entire year or two practicing dispensary growing that's a little different in my opinion. I'd say two years at the most but I still think 4-5 is a bit to much. Think of it this away.. after the first two years you could just video chat once a week or actually show up once a week and just shadow.

N-O. But for the first bunch of years, i had NO ONE to ask anything, too scared to read up online in case "they bugged my phone" (hey, just cause you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you!). I was winging it, and made lots of mistakes, but learned loads, too.
Then i got online & read other ppl's questions & bad advice from really dumb people who shouldn't be allowed to grow a LAWN. That screwed up about 3 harvests. By the time i got on this forum, i was ready to start from scratch. Make of that what you will, but i wouldn't be where i am if it weren't for all the ups & downs. But it made me want to grow MY way, so there's that...
 
U never get the same answer twice online...so many people saying so many different things on the same subject it's kinda bs if u ask me but I know everyone and everything is different in growing...hell there's not 2 people on here growing the same thing the same way
 
Well here's what I'm going to do and what I am prepared to do Monday when I see him I am going to ask him if three or four years to him is too long because once I leave he will be in charge of everything I will be going to another dispensary to do the same thing all over again with an income of 70 G's a year I'm very uneasy person and not a very trusting one either but I handpicked this guy I like this guy and sometimes he beats me to work all he wants to do is provide for his family
