I suppose some details are in order. She is a green cr--k cutting that was the subject of a rooting experiment. She spent some time in a home made hydro rooting setup. She was finally givin a rockwool cube and some rooting hormone and spent two months in a small glass terrarium/vase thingy with plain water and natural inside sunlight where she went about making roots finally. Unsure what to do with her I decided to put some time into learning how to grow using hydro so I re assembled my basic setup. Its basically a little bucket inside a bigger bucket sitting on a bucket. A small pump and a piece of tubing with distribution holes completed the plumbing. A heater and an air stone were also added. She started at 20/4 lighting but that is being slowly adjusted down havent settled on a number but 18/6 would be suitable in my opinion. I am in the process of learning the basics and the problems I created right away although seemingly small are worth more than gold to me. Thats when my brain really turns itself on. I am a problem solver. I was the guy in the shop everybody came to when they couldnt figure somethin out. I was the guy they called in the middle of the night when the basement of the hotel flooded, somebody smelled gas, something was on fire, somebody was injured or fell ill. I got the call before 911 did. While all this did a great deal to boost my self confidence it also lead me to this conclusion. 99.9% of humans are complete fucking idiots how the hell did they get this far in life.

When it comes to Edibles and making them I have a little secret that I like to use that I will share the fact is is I keep all my resin all my from grinding and from trimming I keep my trim and the small unwanted buds because people do not buy hash like they used to I have started using the resin in butter it dissolves almost completely leaving behind almost no residue does not take that long to activate because it's already in such small pieces maybe you should make some banana Canna bread
 
Remember there is certain kinds of nutrients that you cannot use while running Hydroponics do not attempt to put molasses in it it can cause clogs problems backups
 
All the nutes I have are hydro nutes. I understand the importance of feeding the bacteria and their job of preparing the nutrients for the plant, sort of, I think.
 
Just wanted to make sure that you are aware of that not a lot of people are when they first get started the sugar and organic material when it breaks down can clogged up units very quickly
 
To be honest the unsulfured molasses thing sounds like a very old school method of gettin the basic sugars or glycerol into the food chain. I have not looked for alternatives but I would bet money some fart smeller oops smart feller has figured out a better way.
 
Sorry about that I stand corrected by my wife it is not molasses that you cannot use you can use molasses all you want stay away from anything that has a type of soil in it so worm castings other things like that and if you do use them she said she run them through a sifting funnel so that way it just comes out liquid fertilizer on the other side

Do you mean kief from the bottom of a 3-tier grinder? Loooove using that. If i make budder with younger plants, i use everything - buds, trim, sugar leaves, sometimes even fans. (After decarb). And the big, big secret to any kinda cooking: taste. I always taste the budder, and then adjust the amount of budder in the recipe (good guideline is 1/3 budder, 2/3 butter. If it's weak, i increase budder ratio & decrease butter). But that Canna Banana bread... yuuum. (My go to is brownies, cause it's always yum)
 
While I got you the twig may turn out to be somethin. My now semi trained one good eye is lookin at the green hairs and tellin me this girl has a month to go. I sure hope I dodged the mold it was risky movin her but I have no doubt she would have been on the mulch pile if I hadn't. Shhhhhh dont tell my wife but hopefully friday she will be sittin under a brand new mars 600 of her very own. That will sit over top of my hydro thing with my two mars300 eventually. That ought to cook a single plant pretty good.

Yes I do mean kief but I also like to use the resin glands that fall off and end up on my little white sheet of glossy paper that I trim on anything that I can scrape off of there we'll go in I think last time I used 11 grams of kief and an ounce of trimmings in my last pound of butter
