This has been evidenced in Anchorage since dispensaries opened. None of the bud being sold had much in the way of aroma and flavor. Growers jamming to get product sold and into dispensaries cut corners. $18-$22 per gram for hay is a insane!!

That's just crazy! I pay like $ 25 for 10 ounces(and i get discount if i buy in bulk)from a sub-legal dealer. Medium grade, but stick it in a jar for a month?
 
I assure you it is not all dispensaries that cut corners I have actually reported dispensaries for their actions not to mention for selling seeded flowers I run a dispensary myself and our prices are only 8 to 12
 
Wow yall are patience legends. I just started growing again but when i grew i started smoking popcorn bud in a couple days as it dried and my good stuff i let cure about 2 weeks before i started smoking it. Given some cured longer because it took time to get to it but 2 weeks and it was fair game. Was always good tasting and smoking weed to.
 
But you guys are growing your medicine so it i Guess its different situations. I just like to smoke weed. I have a few friends that i give some to but mostly i just grow to supply myself
 
Tastes all hashy and sorta greeny when its fresh and since I am new and studying intently I have really noticed changes during the curing process. But yea I am sorta patient now that I have about two years worth of decent weed from my first grow

Thats the one good thing about growing the same strain back to back lol. I do plan on adding another straib my next grow but I already know my special queen goes down anywhere from day 60-75 depending on my patience.
 
Well guys quick up date. Started popping seeds of yegar as of last night they had been in for 48 hrs. Heres what they look like.

My two idiot dogs
1) sleep on my seedlings
2) eat my seedlings
3) top my plants (gnaw off the grow tips
4) push over smaller pots if i give the plants more attention than them
5) whiz on everything.
I have to keep seedlings out of their reach, else i would have nothing. Thy're on to the bigger girls now, luckily, they're big enough to fight back & the dogs are pretty small. Last year, 1 dug up all my cabbage transplants & brought it to me in a frustrating game of fetch. This year, they both got bones to gnaw while i dug. Worked much better.

It was years ago but when we got our big dog from for the dispensary I was eating popcorn and watching a movie and trying to get him to learn when I knocked my popcorn over and I and the dog started to eat my medical grade popcorn he was all messed up for the next couple days and he never bothered one of those plants again or anything that smells like it
 
So I made my first ever batch of poppy seed pot muffins. And holy shit.they are bomb as hell. You dont taste the pot oil. And 2 muffins had my body feeling couch locked. Now to watch a funny movie munch out cause I went on a cooking slash baking spree. Of course not all edible. Cheers all and have a good night
