Maybe you can you find a way to seal the bottom of the stem off into a smaller enclosed container within that one with some kind of one way valve allowing air to fill it as the plant drinks or maybe a bag so no air gets in and there's nonnegative pressure hindering the plant from drinking it? This is an interesting idea you have I hope it works!
 
I shot some CO2 into the bottles so hoping to see how long they can survive on what is inside the bottle can you imagine if I can this and make it work holy s*** this one is nerve-racking if you come up with anything else simple technology and low budget this would be nice for my project I really am going to do this one way or the other
 
Ok before I do this is it a waste of time or soil to do a 5 gal bucket since it's so short ...I grew 2 in the pots I have this one in and they was like 3-4ft tall...hope I don't keep asking dumb questions but I'm all about learning and I appreciate people helping me
 
And it might have been answered before but I didn't write it down....once I get the cuttings do I put in the veg cycle under the light or wait ....I've read to wait for couple days and put in like shady area...if I've already been answered before I apologize
 
When it comes to the 5 gallon bucket I don't really think you need all that much especially just starting out

And as for cuttings after you take them throw them into water immediately cut at 45 degree angle underwater shave stem lightly optional to use rooting hormone and you can place them into whatever medium you are using whether it is hydro Coco soil or just a cup of water place the Clone underlight does not need to be all that strong but does need some light there is no dumb question if you need anything further explain on this please do not hesitate to ask
 
So is there a location best suited for the cut from the mother plant? Any specific methods or we just ripping off pieces and dropping them in water? Lol
 
So there is a couple things that I am doing me and one fellow other 420 member started clones at the same time he's doing his in peat pellets with right pH and nutrients I took my clones by hand just shove them in a cup of water no pH pH was 8.1 last time tested trying to show that cloning is a lot easier than people make it out to be

The second process that I am working on is feminizing blueberry seeds so I am running through that at the same time to help anybody that wants to breed their own seeds

The third project is trying to find a way to ship cuttings two people fresh as when I cut them by mail
 
I'm going to attempt the easier method ...I find it's the natural way even tho imhigh85 says might take longer to root but that's ok...I'm just starting out so it seems to be up my alley til I get better....this is a great thread to follow...they are helping me out a BUNCH

Ask away and I will fill in the blanks to the best of my knowledge if it's something I am not familiar with I will do the research she find it out and see how it works

But just to give you a little information I run several dispensaries in New Mexico I do a lot of breeding and Crossing for patients four different elements and conditions
