LMAO Cloning For Dummies

420-magazine-mobile1547205775.jpg

I'm trying a little experiment with my well abused clones. I just repotted them, and switched from 400 watts of cfl to 128 watts of 5000k led bulbs.
Let's see what happens.

Keep us posted on your progress. Let us know what you think. Also is this just for seeing what works best for you or is there some other reason for the change up?

I've been battling heat issues in my flower box which shares the garage with the veg box. I'm trying to reduce the ambient temperature of the garage. I'm also trying to avoid buying a new Chinese blurple and reduce my electric bill. Also I would like to see how well they grow like this. It is 16×8 watt led bulbs with the diffuser taken off.

The little clone is going to hate you for a few days for the fact that you took away at light after that it will be okay

Botanicare makes great products not to mention their products are made for beginners and hobbyist and Commercial Growers they are made not to burn your plants easy to use Easy to measure just easy all the way around with Botanicare especially easy to teach people with

You have any questions or want to run some ideas by people we are all on here and enjoying having open discussions on what we think will happen

Circulating the cool air at the bottom of your grow area can help lower the ambient temperature of your flowering box
It has been 80 outside of the box, and 85ish inside. The Cfl's were throwing a lot of heat. As a result I gave not been able to close my door between the garage and basement. If I do i get temps up to and over 100.
I will bring another fan down to circulate the garage air and see how it works.
As an aside, even though the clones look awful, they have a ton of roots going on. I think the look so bad on top because of the heat from being so close to 400 watts of cfl's.

After you take a cutting and place it into soil or water it goes through. Of time where it feeds on all the energy it has stored and its leaves and stems this is the reason that your clones looks so bad they are using this this energy to root once they are fully rooted they will start to grow again and turn green again this is just part of survival for the Clone

Question ....how long can you leave your nutes mixed up before they go bad or can they go bad...was watering the clones and opened the jug and smells like rotten milk wtf

Will it hurt my plants?...I mix up a gallon at a time...water my 1 in flower 4oz a day and the 8 clones 2oz a day...so the gallon last a little bit but don't want to try to figure mix ratios to make smaller batches everyday plus sometimes I don't have time for that

Ok just the grow mix smells bad but not the bloom mix...both have same things in them except for grow has grow bloom has bloom...other than that they both have calmag ....tea...honey...so idk but I mixed them on the 17th...didn't realize been that long I been super busy....so should I told them and figure out something else until I'm using more or what.

I'll mix a two day batch sometimes and PH it both days. Not sure what all is in your nutrients but it's easy to see where they would develop an odor once mixed together and left standing. I don't think it's a bad thing, it just smells like a bad thing.

Have botanicare pure blend grow...pure blend pro bloom soil...cal mag plus...pure blend tea...and I added honey to both...but the grow mix smell like rotten milk and looks like what I believe to me mold forming on top of jug on inside so I said screw it and poured it out...was 1/2 gal left...Idk I might just mix 1/2 gallon at a time

Not sure with your nutes skunk but I keep my go nutes in the fridge. I had to buy a second hand dorm fridge because there was no room in the main one. It will pay off in the end because now I have a dedicated fridge for nutes, seeds and a place to try fridge curing. Because there is no food in it I have the temp setting at 7 celcious. Seems to be the sweet spot. If the smell has changed from ok to omg you may want to replace it. I would hate to kill my plants with bad nutes. But I have no idea about the brand you are using. I do know that one of mine stinks brand new. lol but it's the way it's supposed to smell. Maybe someone with the same nutes as you can chime in.

Yea they smell bad as is but I hope I didn't hurt my plants...I didn't notice the smell yesterday but not taking chances so poured it out...I have a fullsize frig on back porch we use as over flow but don't keep much in there I might look into that...i don't keep the mixes in the grow rooms

I hope nothing is wrong...top of soil smells lil funny...I dumped about half gallon of plain water in each pot to maybe wash off anything...or should I like "flush" em out...somebody tell me they won't die or anything!!!!!

When did you pour the nutes on to the plants that smell funny?
