LKABudMan Grows In Soil: White Widow, Hindu Kush, & Purple Haze Fem Photos, FFHF Soil, Sponsored By Prescription Blend

Thanks @Krissi1982 I was ready for yellowing leaves. I guess I wasn't expecting the whole plant to shrink like that. I've been watching the drought threads and I agree it looks very promising. I'm going to keep following and hope to revisit in the future. Thanks for all the work you've done in bringing this to the front.
It's a difficult concept to wrap your head around in the beginning. What surprised me most was the plant and bud recovery after. I just kept trusting in the process and the information I was told. That's all I can afford you at the moment, that and my personal experiences with it. No need to thank me, I am just grateful to have been allowed the opportunity to try this and talk about it.

Have a great night Budman!! Lots of harvest time trimming for you soon, gonna be lovely like your entry this month for NOTM!!

I'm into the eighth week of flower and I'm keeping it on the dry side. There's some big nugs in there and too much moisture is the enemy.

I was looking at my tracker and noticed that I skipped a feeding... oops. I've watered the last four times and the runoff PPM was pretty low. Abby was dry and ready for some water today. Jenny was mostly dry. Betty was still about 1/2 full. I ended up giving Betty 1L nutes and 3.5L water. Everyone else got 4.5L nutes.

All of these ladies are finishing up, although not quickly enough for the girls in the veg tent. So this will be the last night in this tent for these ladies. Abby & Jenny are moving over to a 4x2 tent with a Viparspectra P2500. That should be plenty of light for them to finish up. Betty is going to the 32x32 with a generic 100w light. Not a great option, but it's the only other light I have. She's so close to finishing I'm not sure it will make a difference.

For their last night in the 4x4 Abby insisted on being up front ;) They're all still putting on weight and smell fantastic. And I saw the first little bit of purple on Jenny.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday (or as we call it Fuck Yea Friday!) and a great weekend.

Happy Growing.

Jenny is still my favorite all these days later. They all look great though! Happy moving!
Thanks @Krissi1982 Yea Jenny has been my favorite through the entire grow as well. That's why I have four clones of her moving into the flower tent this weekend ;)

I always had a crop chomping at the bit to get into the flower room.
It can be frustrating for sure.
Having a place to finish up is great.
Hopefully they get the hint. Hehe

When I saw that fasciated bud on Betty I did some reading. Most said that it would not yield much. I will tell you @HappyHazmat88 that bud has some WEIGHT! It could be mostly leaves but I don't think so. I guess we'll find out soon enough :)

Yea I wasn't worried about the missed feeding at all. I was feeding with every watering for a while so there was probably a bit of build-up there anyway. Call it a mini flush ;)

@Bill284 The great thing is that they can take their time now. Go ahead ladies, keep eating and drinking and getting fatter...:yummy:

@Krissi1982 It's going to be four plants in RDWC for the next few grows :) I'm setting up my new RDWC system in the 4x4 flower tent tomorrow... I'm so excited!

That's awesome! I give you so much credit for doing both!! I am one with the soil all of that intimidates me cause I'm clueless on it other than what I have read here!

Thanks @E0325 yea the @Prescription Blend nutes are great. They make it really easy, even for a first-time soil grower like me ;)

It's been a long day. Part of it was moving these ladies to two different tents to finish up. Betty is definitely drinking a lot less and was much heavier than the other two. I think she's just about finished but will check her trics tomorrow. Jenny and Abby are still going strong. Jenny's starting to show her purple a lot more too :)

It's definitely cooler and dryer in these tents than it was in the old flower tent. Fortunately when the temp & humidity drops, VPD stays good. I'll keep running them on the cool side as long as the weather allows.

When I went down to water them yesterday only Abby was ready. She drank her usual 5+ liters. I watered Jenny and Betty today and neither took much over 4L. They are starting to slow down...

Today starts the ninth week in flower (W9D1). Betty is definitely finishing up. She's looking pretty ugly now but keeps on going. I'm checking her trics every other day and I think she'll be pulled this week. I forgot to take her pic today but I'll get one soon.

Abby and Jenny are still looking great. I can tell their buds are still getting heavier and denser. Jenny is showing more purple every day. Both smell outstanding. It won't be long now :)

Happy Growing.

Outstanding pics, Budman!

Of course, those subjects make it a lot easier to get great pics. :Rasta:

Have you ever heard of folks holding their plants in complete darkness for 24-36 hours before chop?

I do it for every harvest since I learned about it. I have a write up in my signature with clone comparisons at 12-72 hours.

Water/feed one last time, then hold them over until you’re ready to chop. 36 hours seemed to be the sweet spot, but I’ve gone as far as 5 days in darkness.

I also believe that bud washing in colder water in one of the buckets increases trics. I have nothing but personal experience and what I think I see for that one though.

Give it a read and see what you think.
