Thanks yeti!

Donkey, That's a great idea, i'd love to learn and try making my seeds. Although I wish i had more rooms available so i could do more than just one small grow at a time. three rooms total - 1 room for flower, another for veg and another for the purpose of experiments.

Come to think of it, I probably should consider buying a grow tent to install inside the flower room in the corner near the portable ac. That way i can have something starting while these ones are finishing. These plants were planted at 5/19 and now it's 8/18, about to go into flower. That's a long veg time and i want to cut down on the waiting time for next run. That means i need to order stuff - tent, hb kit and start cookin asap. Is there a name brand preference some of you have for grow tents? also which ones have poor quality to stay away from?

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend!

Crap I cant find my flower bulbs and i think it was stolen :/ I had hortilux and digilux, xtrasun bulbs, and now i cant find em :/ Although i guess i am due for new bulbs anyways.

Any suggestions on name brands for 1000w hps? I tried doing a search on the forum and found results dating back in 2000 give or take a few years. It's 2019 now and i wonder if there's a better bulb available to us.

I'm going to buy new bulbs sometime this week and change em out asap

Oh also is there a Classified ad section on this forum? I would like to let go my platinum led p900 lights and i am not sure where to post something for sale. j

Thanks!

Can I ask why your have decided to, I ASSUME go back to HID ? was it the heat or something else ?

*Puff, puff* *pass* :smokin2:

There’s nothing wrong with them p900, just that priorities came up along with my duramax having issues. The duramax repairs aren’t cheap. I enjoyed using the p900's and I wanted to keep them because my plan was to create a second room when I’m able to. The idea was to do mostly LEDs in there. I pretty much had everything for a second room, and the thing is I do not have more available room or space for the garden lol. So i gotta let some stuff go and i can always get them again in the future when the opportunity arise. I might have some pics of the crop grown under the platinumled in coco medium. I’ll try find em.

Hey duggan, Thanks for the suggestion. After a quick looking into sunmaster bulbs, I decided to give them a try over using horties again. I’m always up for trying something different. I paid $62 bucks a piece for them and the horties were $80. Just about 40 bucks saved, Nice! I hope they perform well as the “word” says on the net. The store didn't have the HO version which is what i was going for because it has more red in their spectrum but i think these ones will be fine.

Currently the plan is to install the new bulbs this weekend. Then we will be able to watch how the plants mature!

Last few pics of them before switching the bulbs this coming weekend.

As you can see one of the screen is getting pretty full. I must flip them now or i'll face problems with a overfilled screen / large plant.

Happy Monday!

Morning Duggan, Will do man and thank you :)

Update:

Yesterday the plants had their first day of flower and some water with TP/tea. I did a little close to 2oz of TP and 2 tsp of tea in 10 gallon of water, the plants drank it all up. Note: I kinda messed up by not doing 15ml per gal of water (I wasnt thinking). I remember reading doc guide somewhere saying something like 1oz of tp and 1 tsp of tea for 5 gal of water. So i just doubled it close to 2 oz of tp and 2 tsp of tea for 10 gal.

Today they are going to have some destress foliar spray. I don’t think they are under some stress, although I did notice some yellowing on a few leaves in the middle of the plants and some of the leaves on the perimeter of the plants had the claws. Not sure what’s causing this and I did a couple things thinking that it may help out. At first I thought the issue could be wind burn and maybe not enough fresh air entering the room during dark period. I dialed down the fans a notch, defoliated plants, and upped the flow of fresh air entering the room. We’ll see if the plants improve with these small changes.

Have a great Monday!

Just my personnel preference BUT I really dont like using De-Stress UNLESS they are
showing some signs of stress. I say that because De-Stress is so dark it stains when it
drys, I hate looking under my leafs and seeing dark spots after it drys,

lmao yeah pruning is a better word for what i was doin. okay i will back off on the destress foliar spray. Thank you for sharing :)

Awesome Fingers.. :passitleft:...Ya, with the foliars, Brix is very important , however. A good rule of thumb with it, is to apply every week , to ten days , in between Drenches and Drinks ok. Cheers.

So today was pretty much the end of week two and i noticed the stretch was very minimal. BOP is still clawing after giving half strength of growth+tea. I'm hoping she will bounce back sometime soon after having some plain water tea. The other two plants starduster are hungry, I'm seeing some yellowing and that's gotta be because of me underfeeding them. ( running out of first run kit and will have more drenches on the way) The Climate has been pretty consistent at 77 degrees and the rh fluctuate between 40 to 60.

Have a great Sunday! :passitleft:
