Thanx man, I was wondering what happened to ya. I'm in the middle of trimming my rhinos. Today was harvest day. I got one more to do tonight, so i'm gonna post a few pics and get back to work. I'll stop by your place in the morning. I'm glad you dropped by! and don't worry, if all else fails, start again.
Enjoy the pics, and yea, I'll drop by in the morn.

Ok, I was getting a little achy so I took a break from trimming and took some pics. This is the yeild of WhiteRhino1. I'm just going to post real quick and get back to work on Rhino2. Enjoy. Does anyone have a guess on what it'll weigh in at?

It was more than I expected, so I'm pleasently surprised. the buds are SUPER sticky and most are very dense. WOOHOO!!

Bad things to the girls? What kind of things are they teaching you there? lol, It IS about gardening isn't it? lol, j/k, I am curious about what they are focusing on there though.

You don't have to keep the plant short you can use it anytime you would supercrop but, the idea is to multiply the ammount of main tops by topping and keeping all of the main branches generally level, and keep them farther away from each other so that they can each get as much light as possibe.

About yeild, It's been a while since I have had a garden this small, and I'm just harvesting the 1st run today of White Rhino, and Cindy99 today, so we'll see. cross your fingers for me! WOOHOO!!:cheer:

And, yea, thats how I felt with Jack. such a nice medication, but Oh, the streeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaatch. Although, thats why I've been looking for the EarlyGirl cross of Jack. she was very managable, and very Jack looking buds with quite a bit of that Jack Herer Floaty Up-lets-do-something feel.

Ugh...it's getting too late. I'm glad you stopped by! I'll chat later.

:cheer:thank you, yes, this group is tall....but am still super cr. them to keep them under the lights....any suggestions? i'm just winding branches where i can to get light in....the newer ones, like zulu, used bush master on and s.cr. the heck out of it....and it is doing fine....didnt think, as it is nearly pure sativa that it would have alot of bud sites, but it did help alot, at least instead of clinging to the stem, they are going up, and stacking....so it does work, but i sure have sore fingers....only so many to work on, but am hoping i have the general idea, and will start soon on the new seeds....posted more about this on my site answering moustache....so if you get the time, you can see it there....teach me what you know about super c'ing....it fascinates me...is there a book on it, or articles, films??? and let me know about the tall ones also....what size pots do you use, i would think they could be smaller? maybe? sent for the bonsai wire....take care, looks like youre having a good time....i'm thrilled for you...each plant is a celebration....until you get sore...but still good times even then....next time, and thanks again, lavendar:reading420magazine::cheer::bravo:

damn jason nice buds i think the equation i've heard work best is wet weight x .235=dry weight;) i'm gonna be minimalizing my grow to my 6 plants only next grow(2mothers, 2veg,2 flower) due to lack of space and time and i'm planning on a scrog DWC for the flowering girls so maybe we can compare notes cuz it will be a new frontier for me and you've got the mini hyrdo scrog personal growing down to a tee great job brotha

Hi lavernar. thanx for stopping by! I always love talking to you. You know how it gets being a lone gardener, you have all of these thoughts and ideas, and pretty plants to share, but no one to share them with. haha. By supercropping you mean the domination tek I use I'm assuming? I have no Idea about books or videos, I started out like you and Commj with plants that were just getting too darn tall, and tried the Krimping that I hear about (supercropping) and discovered that I could tie them down, and they would have the same effect if not actually stay lower. That was over a decade ago. (and I'm only 31 now. lol started young. WOOHOO!) and have been honing my technique here and there to fit my Idea of the perfect plant. I have found little tricks here and there on the web, but mostly just trial and error. I'm glad 420 is here for me to share some of that knowledge with other growers. THANX 420! anywo, most of the training si done thru the vegetative stage, and just a little in week 2 bloom to make sure they dont get out of control thru bloom. P.s. the buds I showed hanging in my last pictures are Rhino from rhino1, and after measuring the plant just before harvest it was only 1'9" tall. Hence "'lil' Girls" haha, I go smaller with the first grow of a new strain so I can see how she'll stretch. My next rinos will be taller, more like the 2.5-3 feet that I was talking about. I actually thought my plants were taller, but I was figuring the pots into the measurement. duh. maybe I should pay attention more.. haha.

thank you for the kind words, and yes, they are each a celebration, but only AFTER i'm done trimming them up. that part sucks. these 2 WRtook me 9 hours. what can I say., a cold one and good movie, and I take my time.

later,
J

Hi again man thanx for stoppin by! Thanx for the weight equation. If i get off my ass to weigh the wet buds I'll use your equation vs what I was going to use which was multiplying total weight by 10% These girls are HEAVY though, I think it's due to the 'Liquid W-8' that i'm using with my nutrients. It really does seem to add on the fat.

Nice to see your going to try the DWC. I love hydro, everything from my Personals set-up with hand watering in a coco coir pot to the large Aeroponics that I use for patients. I like Ebb & Flow and drip the most, and my MOMs are now in waterfarms and Big bushes just over 1 week into bloom.
I think as long as you stay on it, and test, test, test your nutrients you'll like what you get. I'll help you out if i can, and the teK that I posted above will help you keep more managable plants fo sho! I'm just getting ready to post a pic of my cindy99 just before I cut it down. It's going to be a plant of the month entry. she is beautiful, and only 1'8" tall. hahaha. but she's a mini MONSTER!! anywho, check it out, and I hope all goes well!

hi fellow 420er's! Here I took some photos of Cindy99/1 at harvest time. I was in a hurry with the Rhinos, and forgot till it was too late. oh well. Anyways she is about 1'8" but came out very nice. I plan on entering her into the next plant of the month. wish me luck, and enjoy.

thanx Lav and Hypo! I just hope the weigh in good once the time comes. next week i guess. lol Thanx for stopping by!

Back to trimming.

Ok, I took a few nicer shots of the Cinderella99/1 before I hacked her up, and some shots of the total 3 plant harvest, AND a couple of the new Cindy99/3 that took 1's place. Her name is Medusa, and she has alot of tops. she will do well. I'm glad I finally got the trimming over with. it sucks after about the 1st Oz or so, but with the goal kept in mind it wasnt too bad this time. I actually made out like a bandito considering that all of this came from a 2' x2' space, AND i have Chrystal finishing up in two weeks or so. Phew.

I plan on placing a new plant into bloom every 2 weeks or so so that I'll harvest one every 2 weeks after the first 2 months since both the Cindy and W. Rhino are 60day strains for me. That will be 4 plants in bloom at all times, and I will use the other 2 blooming plants (the state allows 6 for us.) to test bloom my 2 new Papaya phenos to compare phenotypes and see how much they stretch for future training.

Here are a few pics of the Cindy99/1. (Candy) i entered the first 2 in MAY Plant of the Month, so VOTE FOR ME!!! WOOHOO!

Here is a shot of Medusa. she is the plant that I dominated in the above posts. I had another shot of her, a top view, but must have deleted it accidently. Oh well.

Hello jasonlee, guess I had my head you know where to miss this one!
Nice trim job, and beautiful Buds. Looks like more to come too! Sorry I didn't get here before.:smokin: I'll be back for sure!:cheer:

HIGH OMM, thanx for stopping by. Thanx for the KinD words man, it took a while, but they came out Dispensary quality. Too bad they'll never get to try it. lol I'll see ya around 420. stop by anytime!

Now that's what I call a plant! Or per a convo in another thread - a 200lb Midget!

Awesome!

:bravo:

Hey Papa thats funny, but it's true. I only wish she really was 200lb. :yummy:

thanx for stopping by!

Oh, haha I get it now. Just stopped by COmmj's thread. now I see what your saying that about. yea that was funny. I just wish it is as funny that I got J Duty tomorrow. 8am no less. yeash. ;(

Wow J This is a cindy99 bud. That's a great bud, she's more than a hand full!. Really fine job! I like the contentious grow idea. A new harvest every two weeks is very appealing to me. :cheer:

thanx man, appealing, yes, but I dunno if you'd go there, I know how you love growing outdoors. ;) you'd have to use those weird autoflower strains to pull that off outside i think. I am thinking of using some of those in the woods this summer. a nice 90 day seed to finish would be nice. just plant and come back in 3 months. lol

You know J That's good idea. I have 10 AK-47 autos laying around not doing anything. I should just Johnny Weed seed them out side somewhere.
Thanks! :grinjoint:

no prob bob. IMO thats about all those are good for. lol I prefer the real deal, but I'm sure that in the distant future or maybe some parallel dimension they'll all be autoflowering. yucky. I like total control personally. Thanx for stopping by OMM, I'll be over at your place in a while to check how yer doing. I'm assuming the storm is past? or is it one of those week long deals? I was on Oahu for 3 weeks or so last time and it rained like clockwork for about a half of an hor every day I was there. Coming from dry colorado that was very nice. I like warm rains. I was planning a backpacking trip up into the mountains in the middle, but never got around to it. It's since been added to my Bucket list.

Hey J:surf:

It's still raining over here and we have thick Vog right now. Vog is volcanic ash from the big island. Really hard to breath. Sounds like you were in Honolulu or Waikiki if you had an hour long shower everyday, I live on the other side of the island and it rains here much more, Next town over rains almost every day. Yuck! Fungus everywhere!:surf:

i agree jason but they fill in the wait time if you are starting fresh as well but none the less the results are greater when you control their grow enviornment and get the size of plant you want and yeild plus the cost isnt wirth it for the nutes on a auto really a waste when growing in hydro with other plants they can eat up the nutes your reall grls need ..

WOW, is that normal, or are you guys gonna end up in a new Pompei? Yes, I was in Waikiki most of my stay, and did most of my shopping there, but drove around the Island alot too. It was actually nice on the north side when I was out there. I like the rain, but not like seattle. lol, and fungus can be good if you find the right kind, right? hahaha. We'll I'll will away the rain for ya. Just give me a sec.................Hummmm......Hummmmaaaalllllooooo.....
...ok, there, did that help? no? well it might take a day or two to kick in.

thanx for stopping by man!

yea, I think that they can be great for beginners, but I'm just more into a plant that if I like it I can clone and keep a mama. plus, if you keep getting autos your always gonna have to worry about were to get the next seeds. Most likely you'll be spending alot of cash on seeds all the time or have to deal with breeding alot even if you don't want to, you know. True about the nutes to. The good ones arent cheep. phew. Thanx for stopping by man, I hope you're getting a new battle plan all laid out!
