hi mate, im playing catch up again, been in hospital then when i get out we had that crazy storm and lost power for 24 hours and no fone service for over 5 days, so just got on here,

how are you finding dogget simpson then, im thinking the dose needs upping but dont try it until ive tried it myself, i dont want you risking causing problems when you have done all this work, im basing it on that ive given plants 2 nodes high the full dose of the veg feed, 1 table spoon per gallon, well i mix up a 2ltr pop bottle so it gets 1 and half teaspoons worth of bag 2 using proper measures, so if they can take full dose that early then when they get bigger maybe they can take a higher dose, but then when they get bigger we give them more water so they get more nutes with that.

im sure their is room for improvement though, its such an easy product to use and results seem ok, but im comparing it to blue planet so not tried other brands so cant comment to much, the results seem ok at full dose, plus it takes full dose every time i water my plants so their getting nutrients every time i water them, with b planet i was feeding every other watering, so with the plants i got growing now ill start bumping the dose up on 2 plants until i see signs of nute burn, i just think my ww x sk1 that i harvested could of bulked up more with a bigger feed.

so ill let you know how i get on, im happy with the product due to how easy it is to use and it seems to work at stated dose, so ill push it a bit higher and see what happens,
 
i just read a few pages back about the pump you got, is that what your going to use for the cloner, ive not tried cloning using a pump but when i was taking clones for an aero garden i was using i just used an air stone in a small plastic tub then the clones was held in the lid with foam wedges and the base of the cutting was about 1cm above water level, that seemed to give great results, but as i grow in soil i find cloning direct in soil is my best option,

ive also taken clones using rooting gel and without using anything at all and both seem to root about the same time with the same success rate, if i take a clone now i just take 1 clone and it always seems to root, sometimes i use gel if i have it handy and if not i just plant direct in soil, the important thing for soil clones is the dome you have other them, if you dont let the cutting breath it just rots and dies,

it will be interesting to see what you can come up with for the cloner, ive not tried a pump yet, its pretty easy to make a tiny water pump as i made some in the past with my kids and fitted them to water pistols for them, lots of guides on the video sharing site on diy water pumps, not sure how safe they would be long term but was fun to make and kept my kids happy.
 
Hey all. Donpaul hope you are back to good health and your power outings did not screw plants up to much!
Already noticed the measures issue on day 2. Upped second dose today allready. But plant is growing out of the park! So much foliage as each limb is like a separate plant lol. So holding off as much as can between defol. The pump, not sure on lol just hoping it works?!?!
This plant has started going nuts!
Also Donpaul, try topping a couple of the larger strain auto's go at sixth node and train limbs out gently. You can hit 4-6 off auto's like this. You do have to top on a micro scale. Honestly try it.
Im gonna give OZ a shout tomoz and ask him to experiment with one of his auto's for a demo. Hey OZ :)

Oh Donpaul, what % of stretch growth etc do you reckon Ill get flipping such a mature plant? I want foot long bats. I have 3 Iinch vert growth at mo and want min 12inch by end!
 
Also I should state that with the autos that I top at sixth node. I do remove first 2-3 from bottom anyway on all my plants autos and photos alike! So the girl would have 3-4 branch sets total giving 6-8 heads. I got over 6 as my best with this tech on autos. Worst about 3, just go for the bigger size plants is my tip!
 
Hey all best of green mean growing nice a lean, growing copious of buds babes to all!
Just some pics from yesterday, I'll have some better ones up later as going to have to defol again already. This is going to be a big job on a regular basis with this style. Mainly due to each limb thinking its a single plant, its producing huge amounts of foliage now.

Just to give my 2 cents, my predominantly Sativa Bubb plant, that I gave 2 months to mature in vegetative, gave me a little under a foot of stretch in total. But at the level of my trellis, there was only a total vertical growth of 8 inches.
 
Awesome news AG, Ill upload better pics as soon as I can lol? She got a severe stripping and wow the vert growth is really good. Ill wait another few days then I will set the final angle of all the branch ends. Ill get them alternated for better light and air penetration. Then at this rate another week from then and she should be of a size to flip!!!!! Id be well happy to get 8 inch in stretch, as she has about 4 vert at mo and will have over 6 by flip time.
 
Sorry AG my post was unclear, that's an average of 4 inch vertical growth all round at present. The ends of flux have over 5 inch vertical, some of the side's only 3.5 inch. I'm honestly in no hurry lol. But I don't think it will be long the way she is building upwards at the moment. She seems to love the Doggett & Simpson! :)
 
Mate, Gitt is looking fantastic :). Am I right in saying she no longer grows horizontally JUST vertically? That being the case her branches would look like a kind of "fallen over" L ( ______! ) lol :)
 
Hey OZ yep just building vertical now, then in a few days i'll set each individual branch angle. Just to give every bud max space!

AG, thats good confirmation of what I was thinking myself. So Happy days, flip about a week and a half for definite then!!
