After spending an hour on this thread its pretty safe to say I'll be fluxing all 4 of my plants this run.

I take it as there is no such thing as a "true node" after this, I've heard that when topping people usually dont use the first node as the second pair of nodes on are "true nodes" and cut the bottom node off. I see plenty of buds so I Think people have been smoking too much.

actually im dumb, the 2 starting leaves are considered a node. dumb.

Yup I top at the 3rd node for structures sake. This is when you form the T for the main flux arms.

Not the first two that pop out of soil but the first razor leaf set is the first node. I think thats what they are trying to say is the first true node is that first set of razor leaves.

Do you have a link to the pins you are using?
I just used some old aluminium wire I found in the yard when we moved here. I think old clotheslines had these woven "ropes" of aluminium wire.
I decided to use it as its so soft you can cut it with scissors, and can bend/shape it by hand, but its strong enough to tie down the plant.
Its also non-ferrous meaning i wont have to worry about rust. Non-ferrous metal - Wikipedia

Well a 2-3 weeks and we will be putting my latest flux into flower!
That giant football flux is awesome LA, I cant wait to see what it is going to do! You will probably have to have IVs going straight into the xylem and Phloem to keep up with her ridiculousness. Kudos man.
