Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

Today's fluxing update. I brought the two LKs in last night. It was pouring again and only 50 degrees with wind. The ones in the ground are fine. Photos later. I don't mind if the ground girls get set back. It will help with over all height. That said, my two plants, one in flux, the other is to be LST using a scrog in containers. Currently in five gallon, to be xplanted into 30. I say all this for new people arriving at this amazing journal.

I broke the central leader node on my flux. I wired it up:

Whole plant from above after I defoliated:

This is the second Lemon Kush. I broke one flux arm off completely. Now going to be LST and scrog:

After I just stuck the broken top into the pot:

Going to the high 40s tonight! Leaving the two plants in one more night. THEN, it should be OVER ALREADY. This is the absolutely strangest weather I ever experienced in this state.

Looking good Brooklyn...

I could never save that many roaches. Once my roach jar's bottom is covered I start putting them in the pipe.

LA, so you mean the leaves coming right out of the center lateral stem? Also, I did have everything opened up and flat, but after I broke the center node this morning I raised it up a little to make sure it heals. Make sense? I am really going to do my best with this, but for my first time I'm not going to get too stressed. I know I'll get weed and a lot of it, so it's fine.

It is so cool outside today I won't even go out. Will only reach 70 and very windy. That to me is freezing. Got no Brooklyn blood left.

Don't worry Brooklyn. Whatever mistakes or mishaps you have Professor Flux will show you how to adapt. You've seen how he fixed mines, right?

Okay, I will do that now. Here's my roach hotel. Some are pretty big! A most wasteful way to consume, but I like smoking a joint. Old fashioned, I suppose.

Have you tried the papers with the cardboard "filter" at one end?
The roach looks physically larger but you can smoke down to as harsh as you are willing to inhale. :)

The "filter" is also a built in roach clip. You pinch the filter paper flat, not the paper loaded with herb.

Looking good my friend, just a couple of pointers :) on your flux you have a couple of new growth points that need stripping off. They are the under over nodes. We only use the ones that are joined to flux arms at side! Also as often as you can open ends of flux up, to get smaller nodal spacing along the flux arms! :)

It's this paraphrase correct " Stretch the the leading leaf pairs on the branch ends as often as possible to shorten the distance between the nodes." ?

No, I have not seen papers with a filter type thing. I use 100% hemp paper. I use a joint holder thing with the two holes in it, ceramic, but the pot is so gooey it doesn't stay lit when I use it. Do you know what I am talking about? Little round ceramic thing?

Anyway, here is a photo of my flux with numbers on all nodes. Take a look. Which ones should be removed by number?

One thing, there are two tops I stuck into the soil, so those are not part of the flux (in case it appears they are nodes gone awry).

I usually save 4-6 ounces before I skip a month of meds lol I am consistent with restocking from my dispensary. I am broke most the time though >< that is why every few months are like xmas time for me , the months I buy clothes and food lmao.....

He he! Thanks for the numbered pic :) Makes life loads easier! :)
Ok so you want to take off the number 3 for sure also I think number 6. As you look at the pic the nodes that youve left the fans on are coming out of sides of main flux arms. These we want, its the next node that comes out of bottom and top of flux arms that get stripped!
As for releasing tension whilst joint heals, you got it spot on! :)

Radogast, yep you open up/spread both ends of the main flux arms as regular as possible. The extra light getting in to opened up area means the nodal spacing is reduced along the main flux arms! Giving more arms in less space! :)

To respect the rules of :420: , I'll not post a link.

Google "filter tip rolling papers"
RAW makes theirs out of all hemp. They even make all hemp rolling machines.

My wife rolls these and some CLEAR rolling papers.
I don't know if the clear ones are 100% organic or hemp but
it looks awesome to see the bud and trichomes through the paper :)

OMG, send me a PM with a brand! I came up with ten billion hits. To be sure, you mean actual filters or the ones that look like little pieces of paper you roll into a tube thing? Is that goop that comes out the tip of the joint tar or oil from melting the trichomes? If it is tar I don't mind filtering that out altogether.

The brand is RAW.. R.A.W. ...Raw

I mean the fake filter things made out of thick hemp paper at the end of the rolling hemp paper.
They call them "filter tips" as a nod to anti-marijuana cigarette smoking laws.:rofl:
I think the heavier paper makes a good "pinch point" for passing.

I can't say much about the actual smoking experience, I mostly eat brownies made from ABV from the magicflite vaporizer.

ABV is magicflight speak for Already Been Vaped. :) :) :)

I want a vape machine, but not yet. Once Mark is smoking again with me we'll buy one. The we'll have no waste at all, I would imagine.

On another note, this is Mayteenth and it is so cold in this house I may put the heat on for a few minutes. Maybe hot tub to warm up, but then I have to get out and walk up to the house with a towel...never mind. Freezing to death.

Shoot, if you're doing ABV already anyways just make Qwiso oil outa the roaches and make brownies with/vape that. Kill couple birds with one stone so to speak.

Hey, I've been meaning to ask a question for a month and keep forgetting...what does everybody do with your roaches? I have tons of them and do not know what to do with them. Some are much bigger than others. Very gooey too.

The only part of Growology that is organic is step 1.... About your roach problem...:yummy:.. I save them for when I want to get really high and break them up and either roll and fatty or smoke it in the bong. It is the best IMO... You have what was great to start with and now it has soaked in running resin... how could that not be a good thing.... or if ya don't want to do that make a care package and I will try and help ya out...lol..........:circle-of-love:

lol, I was going to jump in and help, I see the teacher has the situation under full control. Don't worry about the SNAP! it's part of the learning process, I think it should be a requirement, lol. many limbs that completely SNAP! can be saved.

yes, in case LA missed this, I posted a pic yesterday showing the tops being opened
