Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

I use plastic zip ties on everything hanging in my tent. They're strong, can be doubled or tripled to be longer, & can be easily cut with scissors. You get like 300 for $5. They'll hold up anything. Shoot, even Law Enforcement uses them when they run out of cuffs.

I'm with you on this one B; What the heck! Is that suppose to be a sea-monkey embryo or a new strain of penicillin?

It's a nudibranch, they are a type of sea slugs known for looking spectacularly weird and beautiful. There are over 3000 known species. Here's my favorite. Of course being found in australian waters means occasionally it can sting the crap out of you.

Best of terrifically Transcendental and tonkingly big bombastic buds!

Little Gitts update. She has suffered again at my evil hand lol. I have stripped her almost naked and broke all her legs. He he, once I've stripped and strapped her back down, I tortured her limbs. Basically I have bruised, pinched and damaged all her limbs internally. This will promote all her limbs to fatten up so she can support more big ass bud production!

Before work and the burned bit!

LA, do you have plans to cut the very ends of the two main shoots. It would seem to me that if you allow them to continue to grow that those two shoots will receive the most water and nutes as they are directly at the end of the main shoots.

I don't really know that much but like ML'ing you want even distrubution of water and nutes to all shoots and you will not get that without cutting those two shoot off.

GR

It is looking gr8 thought.

How can I have possibly missed out on this for this long?! D:
It's going to be very interesting to see how she's going to flower. Sorry about the burn but yeah, shit happens. The amount of bud sites you normally sport with your plants it seems like a minor loss :D

Lemme just grab a seat here and I'll ride along :surf:

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for this grow to go into flower, unfortunately for me LA will be vegging for another 6 weeks minimum, so we'll likely be going into flower with our fluxes together (if all goes well for me). The good thing about that is his will have 6 weeks of veg time on mine so we can have side by side grows of this new technique that will finish under different circumstances b/c where his plant is @ now, that's about when I plan to flip into flower to see if I can get some nice big single cola SOG style micro grow-like buds and his, well let's just say it will be much bigger!

Cheers guys, gr865 I'm gonna top both ends of flux soon maybe in another week or two. As said before I'll train her out past edge of pot then top, training the two new growths at the end outwards with the other limbs. Also I'll be pinching manipulating and using selective defol to even all her limbs out. then I'll let all ends grow upwards for at least 4-5 inches. before flowering her, to get huge colas all round.
Henman glad to have you aboard my friend!
Skybound, yep should be interesting indeed, I hope you find this style as easy as I have. It really is plug and play growing, with hardly any work involved.

Poor Little Gitt, I feel so sorry for her. She never had a chance to live a normal childhood...

Today, I cut a piece of plywood with 2 - 3.5" holes to hold the solo cups elevated. From each side of the cups I will screw in some eye screws all the way out the board to tie down to. When I was making it, I thought, "this has Light Addict written all over it". So after painting it white, I may paint or otherwise draw LA or Light Addict across the face so my pics give the credit where the credit is due. Not to mention that I think it'll look like a mid-evil torture rack. Any other ideas or suggestions to expand upon your new technique?

Skybound buddy I would be most very grateful for you to display my name in such a way, very gracious if you do. My two thoughts are maybe you need a little more width to the board betwwen pots. Also drill a load of tiny holes. On each side of flux then you can thread/weave some twine through under over to strap down the legs. Would mean easy adjustments and soft shackles for training. Just a thought m8!

Quite a bit of what I plan to do is predicated upon me being able to build this other box. If I am stuck in what I have for the rest of the grow, I will only be able to fit 1 5gal bucket in there, 2 side by side, but to use 2 would make fluxxing these ladies more complicated and we know the ladies are plenty complicated as is.

Also are you going micro, or hydro with em with such small pots? Sorry if you've already told me lol. The width thing would be mainly for airflow through and around buds. Loving your planning though buddy. I honestly think with big veg and plenty of vertical build I can pretty much hit an OZ per colas. With being able to in theory pick the number you want. The thing that needs some research is at what finite number you could do it with. Hydro would surely be higher as soil will have its limitations.

I hereby call on someone here @ 420 who has time to veg for a long, long period and try this method in hydro just to see what can be produced pushing this method to its limits. If not I will do it myself maybe starting March next y
ear. I will add I have zero experiance of hydro, so if no experienced person steps forawd Ill be calling on some of you big guys in hydro.

I am in the middle of 2 growing styles completely new to me, your flux which is still being developed and Capn's simple hydroponics (very similar to AG's grow). I was told that frequent transplants (when using RW) allows the root mass to get better zone population when being frequently held. Like you know when the roots begin to circle the pot, TP them to a slightly larger pot so they grow to the boundry and circle again. After doing this 5 or more times in the plant's life, allows the roots to slowly branch out and when the final pot is reach, the entire root ball is almost completely filled with roots. So yeah, a top feed over rock wool flux. I plan to finish them in Capn's DIY air pot (5gal bucket with drilled holes), 400w HPS for flower and supplemental T5 bulbs for in between the headrows. I will be getting a lot more eye hooks for buckling down to. If/when I build a new closet, I will use a board that can hold 2 5 gallon pots and use inserts to hold smaller pots.

Since starting to lurk in the shadows I have been wishing I had read this a while ago, I accept your challenge but I am already growing so I will have to ease into it, thank you for persuading me to take the plunge!:high-five:

Awesome work!

Would there be any advantage in forcing the odd lateral to touch the soil and root? I suppose the medium is going to be pretty maxed out,
:lot-o-toke:

unless you grew the 2 main stems over 2 new pots?

:lot-o-toke:

I accept the challenge.
Nice training ,DUDE
Can"t wait to see it in flower:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
I normaly just tie down my ladies, (lst) with a supper cropping 2 weeks before flip.
If you check my present grow , The bag seed plant was 12/12 from seed then reveged for 75 days, and now covers 3'x3'x6"
I am preping for a new scrog only, one plant harvest a month room and I will start 2 seeds 1 to be trained my reg method and the other this way.
Now to pick the stain ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to be continued
:peace:

ajagunle, glad to have you jumping in my friend and the Idea of trying to get the flux to root in a few spots with different pots is a real interesting idea. Ain't got the room to try this at mo and don't know how easy it would be to try and get roots to develop from other established parts of plant.
Lurch Farmer great to have you here, and excellent that your willing to give it a go buddy! I'm real keen to see just how far a flux can be taken, especially in hydro!
Skybound your plans sound great buddy and well chuffed to have you fluxing, together we should be able to really work all kinks out and give everyone the complete guide to Fluxation! Also great that we should end both projects together.
Best of all good and green to all!

Hm, maybe with all the knowledge and experience you possess LA, combined with the experiments from hydro and from other growers, maybe a fluxation guide book is in the foreseeable future? ;) I know I for one would get a hold of at least two copies

Or maybe even spin it further and write a novel about an unfortunate grower, whom's double waffle fluxed plant starts crawling around eating people. Or the likes. I can definitely see how it could walk away like a centipede any time :tokin:
