Ya its gonna be staggered. My box has enough space to have 5 rows of 3 hempys wide. So i will take like 3 clones every 2-4 weeks and as soon as they root they go to the flowering box. They should end up as budcicles, i went and caught up on jojo's journal and I saw he got inspired to hempy sog from the same old journal i got the idea from lol.

I mix my own stuff. A little bit of this and a little bit of that :)
I balance the grow elements my self to avoid deficiencies.

There is a guy called "FatMan", look him up if you want to know more about highly soluble nutrient mixes DIY.

Getting busy around here! Lol im pretty stoked for my next harvest should be around January 2nd give or take lol these plant's buds are getting nice and dense. Here's some pictures from the flowering box and in a bit I'll get some pictures of the veg box. Enjoy!

Nice Lex! They look very happy. When is it harvest time for the MD Bottles? Sorry for not coming around lately been busy with finals but now I'm done. Hope your doing good...?

Thanks GG! I know I won't yield the most this way but i do feel like its the best use for my space lol. I been just having the hardest time getting a good picture of the main cola's on the eldest two of the girls still in flowering its a really dense bud lol. If my hempys turn out like that i will be happy lol.

hey mello no problem my friend life happens! Im looking at harvesting these next plants around January 2nd then it will be awhile before I get to harvest again but when I do i will be harvesting consistently if i get the timing right, hopefully either every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks lol. I'll have to crunch some numbers lol
 
I had always intended to SOG but some things got in the way of that so i ended up flowering plants that I intended to have as mothers lol. The only thing new with my plan is the hempys and that's thanks to your subliminal messages tead! Plus i had already been interested by hempys i just always saw people saying hempys should be part perlite part vermiculite or part perlite and part coco and i didn't want to mix it i just wanted to use perlite purely out of my cheapness lol i figured hell im running out of my soil less mix but i have this big bag of perlite hmmmm i wonder if I can just use that? Well all my research made it seem like it wouldn't work but the reasons just didn't cut it for me so then i met you tead and you gave me my answer! Lol. Sorry for the ramblings lol hope it made sense lol i tried a little of my popcorn buds that were dry and im pretty high lol

Perfect sense.... popcorn buds and all.
I remember running across some gravel grows... nothing but gravel and nutes.
 
Wow how did that turn out? Do ya know? Never would have thought to use only gravel, i mean ive heard of people mixing in rocks or putting them at the bottom of the pot but growing in it! Lol

Gravel works.. better in an active hydro config. Smaller gravel works somewhat better. Hydroton is close to gravel. Wouldn't play out well in my hempy buckets probably. Perlite wicks the water a whole lot better.

Ah i got ya. On another note do you think if i put perlite in my clone dome i could clone that way instead of these peat pellets? I been rolling the idea around for a bit and just figured I would ask lol.
 
I tried those peat pellets myself not long ago... one of my current vegging girls started that way. I decided to skip them myself. They were just messy, wet, and gooey. I was worried about their water retention and saw them as a potential source of rot.
I've been watching you use them... saw them in the photos.
For many years, I started clones in perlite. It worked. Not as fast and easy as the DIY cloner I put together. Your question catches me right as I'm learning to love my new DIY cloner.
You can do it a few ways. Me, being the lazy type, would just start the clone in my normal hempy bucket. I keep them covered with a plastic solo cup. Spray them a few times daily. Keep the perlite around the plant moist with the same spray. Usually takes about 2 weeks. One of the vegging girls in my veg cab is an example of this technique...

Ok well as long as perlite isn't slower then 10-14 days i might switch to perlite for cloning. Thanks for answering my question tead!
 
UPDATE everything is dried and in the jar now. Weight is 15.1g that is from just one plant so that ain't bad lol. Here look for yourselves lol
