Thanks weasel and wow i didn't know that the mother plants didn't have that issue but now I can be aware that these can choke out the roots. Problem with cutting them open is the peat moss wouldnt hold together i reckon. Hmmmm lots to think about lol

I think if you wait till roots shoot out the bottom, then slit them up a side or two with scissors, or at least opened up the bottom a little more- then plant them- you'd be fine. I've heard other people having problems with them. It's a bit confusing because they're commonly available- so some people must do ok with them, but I can't argue with my own experiences with them and never use them anymore. I also use to olant trees that came as seedlings started in peat pellets. They had the same problem. You could pull up a five year old tree and it had a little constricted root ball with a nearly intact peat pellet in the middle.
Anyway- don't worry- just a caution- should be easily fixable.

O ok so you mean slit them when they are ready to go to their pots right? If that is the cause then I see no problem and will definitely do it. Initially i thought you meant do it now for some reason lol im a wee bit medicated

Yeah sorry I went back and tried to edit it to make more sense- yeah I think cut them up as much as possible just before plunking into your soil mix or whatever

Indeed it is lol. And just so everyone knows its not completely plastic the stem is glass and the bowl is a metal pipe i put in the stem that happens to fit snug lol

The ph isnt too horrible i just have been trying to get it down from 6.5 anyways ya I'm a bit impressed with the smallest plant myself lol the clones seem to be doing ok no sign of roots yet but it is a little soon for that lol. Your girls been looking good. I checked out that guy doing the crazy lst lol
