Lewydeville’s Perpetual DWC With Fruit Spirit 2018

Looking very nice Lewy. All your talk about hash is making my mouth water. I think tonight I'll get on the hash pipe and give the cones a day off. I've got some White Widow hash, some Strawberry Kush hash and some Thai Stick hash, gonna have to decide which one to bust out.

Yes Scrogdawg another hash lover. That’s some line up as well! Strawberry Kush sounds delicious and Thai stick needs no introduction. I think the White Widow in the Fruit Spirit is the reason why it yields so much hash. I think you can make some outrageous hybrid hash as well. I made a Blueberry gum x Vanilla Kush x Tangie and the stuff was like blueberry menthol sweets.

I’ve finally got around to weighing up the dried and cured bud from the big plant and ended up with 555.7 grams. I was secretly hoping for a pound of weed off one plant and I’m so pleased to have achieved it and a little extra. I’m definitely going to be trying to beat it one day. My target for this grow now stands at 25 ounces.

This evening I’ve been spending time in the garden for fun rather than anything really needs doing. I checked ph and topped up a couple of buckets but apart from that I just enjoyed looking at them. Here are a few shots of the roots

Started super cropping the flowering girls over the last two days It’s two weeks since I flipped them to 12/12 so over the next week I want to bend a few branches on each plant so I fill the tent space with as even a canopy as possible. The smell in the tent just from bending a few stems was really good. I’ll start with the bloom nutes next res change, 75% bloom 25% grow.

Thanks Frizz. I’m definitely going to use a big deep tote next time. Big plants sure can drink some water and the one I grew could drink it’s bucket dry in less than 24 hrs! I think it’s possible tho.

Gave the girls a defol and bent a few branches tonight. Not the best photos but should show how they’ve responded when I update on Saturday.

Didn’t manage to get to my garden over the last few days as I’ve had a terrible case of man flu! Lol. Checked in on the girls today and all was well. I was panicking that some of the bigger plants may have emptied their reservoirs. Gave them a change and started on the bloom nutes. The veg tent is not great at all, the Tangie is ok but the two other seedlings are pathetic. I hold my hands up as I’m pretty sure it’s my doing hopefully this week I’ll have more time to sort the veg tent out. Just a few shots of the flower room today.

Veg tent update

Things haven’t been going to well in the veg tent lately. Main reason is when I put my seedlings into the dwc tote I was in a rush to go somewhere so just chucked them in without PHing thinking “I’ll do that tomorrow!” For at least a week the ph was sat at 7+ This along with me trying to drown them left me with a very unhappy garden. This is my only Blue Mistic from 3 beans looking very sad.

After getting everything in order I’m lucky to have two of the ugliest runts you’ve ever seen in your life but they are starting to blossom!!

Blue Mistic. She’s just starting to recover throwing out a first leaf that resembles a cannabis plant! Super chuffed tho as It was my last chance with this strain.

This is Fruit Spirit #2 which I’m excited to see how it compares to Fruit Spirit #1. It’s going to have to be very special to stand a chance of staying around cuz I feel like I never wanna lose the #1 cut and can’t see me keeping two versions

Reserva Privada Tangie is looking a strong plant considering the conditions I’ve kept her in. I’m going to start training in the next day or two.

Of the three clones I’ve taken 1 didn’t make it but I’m sure the other two are good and should see roots any day.

Now I’m on the ball with everything hopefully things should get going and a valuable lesson has been learnt!

Yes mate I’m going to document making the RSO. My sister says that the oil I’ve made her makes her very tired in the mornings so I’m hoping the oil made with this Fruit Spirit she might find better as i think my pheno has a strong Sativa side to it. If not next time I will only use Tangie as this is 100% Sativa.

Flower tent update

Not going to be able to get to my garden for about 3 days so I’ve given rez changes today. Gave them a really good defol and moved a few about to make the best of the room and light. Temps are cold so the heating has been on as well as the dehumidifier in the tent making my Rh drop to 18. During flower I like mine at 35/40 for max trichome production. Here are a few pics of before the defol. Have to wait for the after pics as I forgot to take some.

Update

Flower tent is looking good I only pop my head in to take a photo. I’ve read in a few journals about giving a flush for a week on very weak nutes about now will speed up the plants metabolism, so I’m going to try it.

The veg tent is looking better now. The clones have rooted and the two seedlings are now growing. I started training the Tangie and managed to grab a clone from her. She has the thickest strongest stems I’ve ever had on a plant. I’ll be updating more this week but for now here are some pics.

Managed to spend some time in the flower tent giving the girls a good defol. Starting to get frosty now and the smell is getting stronger by the day.
