Lewydeville’s Perpetual DWC With Fruit Spirit 2018

@Lewydeville this was a great journal to read. I was having issues sleeping and before I knew it I was done reading the whole thing :p

I want to say that you have helped me confirm the direction I was going with my set up on my second run. I heavily consider doing RDWC after my first run at single bucket DWC but I want to do 2-3 strains per grow as I enjoy variety. I thought I was the only one changing out buckets every res change and just moving the lid with the plant to the other bucket lol glad to see I am not that crazy and I am surprised more tutorials and journals don't talk about it.

Do you have a two tent set up or do you have a third bud drying one? I am considering getting a small third tent for drying only.

Hey, whatever happen to the broken stem that was touching the fan? Did it heal? The same thing happened to me but it was the main stem a few weeks after I topped the plant. I thought she was done but she healed nicely! Gotta love nature!

Looking forward to reading your other journal. I really enjoy how you train and defoliate the plants! You are a master at this craft.

Welcome Dro my friend. I’m glad you enjoyed this journal, it’s been an absolute blast to write and getting comments like yours makes it all the more worthwhile. Thank you.
Single buckets are great and like you I would love to see more journals showing their potential.
The bud on the snapped branch was fine in the end. I was going to show some pictures of how it healed but snapped it again trying to remove the tape. It surprised me how it repaired itself that late into flower. Amazing nature.

I off to harvest the remaining Tangies now. I hate trimming but damn they smell so good! When I’m finished I’ll swing by your journal and thanks again for the nice comments.

First up on the chopping block tonight is the bigger of the two Tangies. Smells awesome of tangerines and should make some tasty rosin.

That looks tasty AF! Loving the colour to the buds. Good luck with the trim

Mate it smells out of this world. Beautiful buds and I’m definitely going to grow it again. I can’t wait until its dry so I can get squeezing! How’s the little one and family?

Had a few sleepless nights but it's not too bad overall. This new one hates getting changed though. What a screech she has on her lol

It doesn't look like I'll be getting a press anytime soon but I was eyeing up the misses hair straighteners. She wasn't best impressed

Ha I’ve tried my mrs hair straighteners before. Best thing I’ve bought in a long time that press but my god I’ve been in a coma since it arrived! Lol.

Here I go with the last plant. This is a clone from the Tangie I just trimmed up. The colour of this tangie is more green probably as this plant was directly under the hps and the other under led.

Here is the last of the Fruit Spirit I’ve been growing for a long time now. I’ve still got two clones but they will be in my seed project. It’s definitely been my favourite strain to grow and vape so far. It’s gassy, rubbery and skunky I love it!

Next up is the Fruit Spirit #2. This was a different pheno from the first seed I’d popped and went an extra two weeks before it was ready. Again it’s absolutely delicious more earthy and rubbery. I’d probably say I prefer it to my original taste wise but not as much in the growing department.

Last up is the Reserva Privada Tangie. I’ve really enjoyed growing this strain again. Really good yield of the most beautifully scented buds. It’s going to be lovely vaping this all summer!!

So that brings me to the end of this journal. Quite fitting that it’s come to an end on 420. I have to say at the start I did have a few “what the hell am I doing putting this on the internet” moments but if anyone is reading and thinking about starting a journal just do it! This community is something special and just a real nice place to hang out. Massive thanks to everyone who stop by and made me feel welcome.

If anyone is interested in my second journal the link is in my signature.
