Just finished trimming the bud off the stems ready for jarring. Grabbed a tiny little bud for another taste and took a few close ups to show the trichomes.

All weighed up at 25oz 20g so I missed my target by just over 4 oz. I’m still pleased with the yield as 2 of the plants I flowered were on the small size. It’s all jarred up now I will be posting some shots of the bud over the coming week. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Excellent haul! I'll be happy if I get half that with mine lol. Nines one man

I’ve been thinking about that. I’m going to be finishing the plants I have going at the moment in this journal. Would like to see how the second Fruit Spirit bean compares to the one I’ve been running. Time for a change then and make some upgrades to my set up for my next journal starting after taking a break during summer. Can’t be bothered to battle high heat again and not been on holiday for two years as I’ve nobody to look after my garden while I’m away. It will keep the wife happy and I’ll be able to sneak some goodies into the grow room!

Happy New year everyone. A little bit late I know but I’ve not been on the site for over a week so hope everyone had a great time. The veg girls are coming along nicely. This is going to be the last grow for this journal and I’ll be taking a summer break so I need these to get nice and big before I flip. The Tangie clone pulled through nicely and the Fruit Spirit reveg clones are looking healthy now. Here are a few pics. I’ll get some in natural light during the week.

I’ve been very busy lately and not had much time to spend on 420 but things are coming along nicely in the grow room. I’ve given all plants a fresh res and probably their last round of training before I flip to 12/12 next week. The plants are all showing good structure ready to grow some fat colas and I’m hoping to finish my first journal hitting the target i missed last grow of 30 ounces.

Thanks SD. I started the Tangie and Blue Mistic mid October but they had a slow start due to me being a little lackadaisical lol. I’m not sure how many times I’ve topped them? I’ve just given them a top and trim when I felt they needed it. This Tangie is got my attention tho mate, it’s different from the first bean I ran, it smells 100% like you’ve just crushed some Christmas tree needles between your fingers which has to be up there with one of my favourite smells.

Lol yes round three then a break for the summer. Dreading not growing for a few months but stuff battling mega high temps anymore. Haven’t been on the site lately but I’m looking forward to catching up with the journals I follow later. All good with you mate?

Its been a busy 24hrs for my grow room. After that epic trimming session it was nice to get in the flower room, give it a clean and make some adjustments ready for the next run. I bought some tent expanders a while back as my exhaust fan is way over powered for my tent and sucks the sides in to the point where I'm losing 12 to 18 inches of grow space and they looked a great idea. When I tried them first time around the plastic arms just aren't quite up to the job and my fan pulled them and my tent back in on itself. So to overcome this I've run a 3 inch pipe from an outside vent into the tent as a passive intake to relieve the pressure a little. Working a treat now, I can zip everything up and it still sucks it tight but the expanders hold firm. I've also set up my heating fan as winter is on its way and I'm sure I'll need it before this run is over. After this I moved the six Fruit Spirit from the veg tent into their new home, gave them all a fresh res and a light haircut for some.

Re: tent expander ?...I couldn't get 'tent expanders' shipped to Canada so I use bungee cords . economical , easy to unhook when working , and moveable ..CHEERS!
I'm not bad bud. Back to work and back to normal. Last year the summer literally killed 2 of my crops so I thought about having a break but I'm gonna try out that 200w led and another 200w high bay. I reckon they'll be ok....unless we get another mega heatwave lol. I remember that It was 26C before the lights even turned on for about 2 weeks straight. On one of the days it was 38C with the lights on! Having a holiday sounds great though.

Welcome Hijinxxx, I didn’t get on with the tent expanders at first but now I love them. Gives you a ton of extra space but I totally agree a few well placed bungees would give you the same effect.

Had an amazing hash run yesterday. I had a feeling it was going to be a good one as the weight of the trim seemed high for the amount in each bag. I had way too much for one run so I did two runs and a second wash on each to make sure I got everything. Hit over 12 grams of the 90 micron alone! which I’m going to enjoy trying in my new rig later.

I used all the trim from the last six plants I took down at Christmas. It’s ludicrously strong. You would get some unbelievable hash if you mixed all 10 lots of trim you got from your grow and made a mega mix! It has to be one of my favourite things making hash.
10 strain mega mix sounds good! I could call it rainbow hash lol
