Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Good morning 420. A little update and a few pictures from my garden today. The males are hitting their stride now.

Really interesting to see for the first time. I’ve also been checking the plants in the main tent just in case a rogue Male got passed my bad eyesight but so far so good. Starting to fill the room up now.

Stay safe everyone.

Males? Did I smoke too much and miss something?
:lot-o-toke:
Hey Canuck. This isolation has me perma-baked myself! Lol. I’m trying to make a few of my own crosses this run. I’ve never done it before so it’s just for fun but I reckon I’ve got a couple of decent plants here, the Crumbled Limes both Male and female smell incredible already. Hope you’re keeping well buddy.

Good looking male, he’s stacking like a champ.
They look pretty decent don’t they Penny. Not that I’m an expert but these three Male plants have all got the growth and structure I like to see so should make good fathers.

Nice looking boys and girls! When do you collect the pollen from the males?
Thank N4. I’ve been reading up today and they say you can start to collect pollen after 2/3 weeks of flower and best to pollinate females around week 3/4. By pure fluke it looks like I got my timings perfect! Lol. Once I’ve collected plenty of pollen I’ll cull the males and use the veg tent as an isolation zone for pollinating the females. Hope you’re well buddy.

caught up again! I was going to ask about how the males smell. Is it as much as the females? I was thinking that I could get away with doing a male plant outside away from my grow space but if they smell then that would be a problem. I have next to no experience with the males other than culling them lol.
The garden is looking great Lew. Good luck with the seed making as well

The Lime Male is like a carbon copy of the female twins especially #1. They look and smell identical of strong lime with a haze background, really good. Should make some good reg seeds keeping the lime terps and I’m hoping because I’m using the twins maybe that is carried on in the genetics.

Thanks for the warning.
Guess what Lew? I'm in the middle of making some more hash with the Hashplant D trim. I'm just waiting for it to settle after giving it a 10 minute beating with a spoon.
Another question for you. How do you handle your bubble hash? I have to keep mine in the freezer then make a spliff with it really quickly as any heat applied to it for a few seconds causes it to turn into a oily paste which is impossible to get of your fingers. Its like liquid caramel at room temperature. Is that normal?

Should make some good reg seeds
Ah, I was just going to ask what type of seeds you're going to get, I guess it's a totally different process to make fems.

I always set my hash on a 25 micron mat sat on top of a tea towel to draw the moisture out. Once you can break it off the mat I place it on some cardboard but regularly move and turn as it will stick if left too long. Some of the high grade micron hash can be very similar to solid rosin for the first week, very sticky. It does dry out over time but any heat from fingers will have you sticking to everything. Also sometimes the lower grade second wash can be extra sticky so make sure you’re not over agitating. It might be worth giving a six minute first wash to take the cream then a second wash of 10 minutes to catch the rest. Keep everything as icy cold as possible.

Over agitation is probably something I'm guilty of. I'm not stirring violently but for a longer periods than you recommend. I think I stirred for around 15 mins followed by 10 mins rest then another good stir before pouring it. Then I put it back through again. Also I'm not sure if I'm getting a good return as I've not done it many times before. Ive just posted pics of tonight's run using the HPD trim but I still have another tub of lower grade trim from the Wilma grow to run.
Cheers Lew

I’m using regular seeds for most of the breeding apart from a fem Wedding Cake that I’m going to pollinate with reg males.

Good morning 420. Had a surprise checking the “girls” last night, turns out Guicy Banger #2 is a boy after all! Quite amazing that I ordered 2 seeds of 4 different strains and ended up with a Male and female of each......providing I don’t get anymore surprises! I moved the offending plant in with the rest of the lads straight away and now the remaining girls have a bit more space to stretch.

Happy 420 Everybody. Hope everyone is enjoying themselves with a fat bag of weed and what a bonus not having to share because of this isolation malarkey. Those party size spliffs take some smoking on your own though! Lol
I’ve just poked my head in the tents and checked on the garden tonight as I’m pretty baked right now. All seems well with the males. I haven’t looked in on them for nearly two days and I was happy to see how well they are coming along.

Considering three of these plants haven’t had a res change in 6/7 weeks and I’ve only been topping them up with old leftovers from the main tent they have been pretty cheap to grow and should pay dividends for very little effort.

Here are the lucky ladies getting ready for some pollen action. It’s going to get funky up in here soon!
