Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Indeed huge stems again, should hold up a lot of weight in flower! Nice job looking great Lewy
Thanks mate but I’m still hoping I need to use the plant yo-yos! ;)How are you Peter hope you’re well.

Things are looking great Lew! I can't wait for the report on the chems. The gardens looking nice and tidy as well. Time for some more flowers!
:passitleft:
Mate I can’t remember if I’ve said this before but years ago I use to get this kush now and again, it would sell out in a day or two and so many people wanted it the lad would only sell you an eighth to a quarter but no more. It use to stink the whole house out like nothing I’ve ever smelt. I’ve been searching for a strain with that smell and taste profile for ages. This Chem is definitely it! I’m so buzzing to try this. Might even have to roll a fat dobes at Christmas and take a trip down memory lane!! Hope you and the fam are well.

Just a few pictures of the main flower tent today. Plants are ok but not what I would call spot on. After moving the direction of the heat fan I’ve come to the conclusion it’s a temperature problem. The fan I’ve been using just isn’t the right equipment for the size tent I’m using and probably more suitable for a big grow room. If I turn the fan on high the plant closest starts to cook and if I try and lower the temp the plants farthest away are too cold. I think losing the heat from the hps has made this more apparent. As soon as the first 2 chem autos are finished I’ll move some equipment around and maybe add another oil radiator into the set up. I’m still happy with their progress and with two more weeks of stretch to go hopefully I’ll still hit some good numbers.

Looking good. :high-five:
I like how you didn’t freak out when the main stem split. Looks like she doesn’t mind at all...
:meatballs:
Thanks Bobby, It’s very rare for a plant to come through my tent without losing a limb or me splitting the trunk. It normally creates a nice fat knuckle once healed. I’m going to be squeezing some rosin tonight. Got me in the mood reading your journal last night! I made a mix of sorbet Dream and fat banana last week and I’ve done the lot in already it was so good. Buddered up nicely.

Man you're really a master grower if it comes to structuring a plant, looking full already! Too much leaves in my opinion for you lol.

Thanks Peter, I don’t touch them for the first 21 days of flower as I’ve found defoliation during this time effects the stretch. I do have to lock the scissors away so I don’t forget myself though.

So at day 21 one a heavy defoliation coming up and then planning on defoliating during flower as wel or just once and that's it?

I go really heavy on day 21 then go again around day 45. I try to time res changing either two days before or two days after stripping the leaves just because it’s hard to notice if something is wrong with so few leaves.

I’ve got some updates from the auto tent tonight. I’ve been keeping an eye on the height of the Northern Lights x Big Bud and I’m pretty sure it’s finished stretching so got to work stripping it’s leaves to expose all the lovely bud sites to the light. Here are the before and after shots.

Poor old Chem #2 lost an arm....I blame @DonkeyDick for putting the idea in my head! :p It’s only a lower Bud and is now drying, will be a nice treat come trim night. I’ve got to harvest in the next 10 days as family are coming to stay for Christmas so I hope I start to see a few more ambers soon.

Hey 420, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I’ve been out with the boys on Friday night for a nice steak and lots of beer..... ok way too much beer! Then went and met Santa with the kids yesterday with a slight headache to say the least. Spent a little time in the garden this morning before I went to work and gave a few res changes. It’s 10 days since I flipped and they are going well. I’ve kept them on full strength grow nutes until their next res change when I’ll switch to bloom once they have stopped stretching.

I’ve been keeping an eye on the trichomes of the Chems and they are very nearly where I like to harvest. I cannot wait to try this especially the rosin.

I think going to see santa yesterday has got me in the mood for Christmas so made a wreath!:p
