Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Nice! Those lights look cool. That monster in middle just jumps out now.
Regarding your auto's, are you hammering them with full strength nutes?
Thanks Canuck. I have got them on full strength nutes but looking at Chem #1 I think it might be time to start reducing them. I’ve found getting the right feed levels the hardest part dealing with the autos.

Do you never fill the Center with this training strat? What number of tops are you aiming for on this last girl?
I don’t worry about the centre of the plant as the side branching from all the tops will fill that space in no time. I think I’m going to stay at 16 tops with most of these and see how the lights perform on this run.

I’ve now separated the autos and photos into their own tents today and it feels nice to get some organisation. At some point I’m going to introduce the dehumidifier with the autos and I need a new monkey fan to get some more air movement as my old one has finally given up the ghost. As soon as the first auto is finished I’ll cut some clones from the photos and pop a few more beans. Here are the autos in their new home.

That has left plenty of space in the main flower tent for the four remaining plants to stretch out. I’ve given French Macron #1 her final trim and once I’ve given them all fresh buckets and a few days to get accustomed to the new lights it’s flower time.

New lights are brilliant, Lew (see what I did there?)
It makes the denuded frames seem more stark than before. You’re really pushing the edges of the envelope with your methods and getting phenomenal results too.
Pushing the boundaries of physics too when plants collapse under their own weight :yummy:
(Wait. You’re reinventing physics, defying chemistry with your pH palaver, botany is getting a makeover. Is no branch of science safe from you? With a lab coat and a government grant you might just give us the faster-than-light drive we need to survive as a species! Something to think about, Lew)
And hey - grow creep. Lucky/well organised guy :high-five: The new space looks great.

Thank you DD you crazy cat! I’m well impressed with the new lights. Hopefully I can do them justice and pull a big yield. Let’s set the target high at 25 ounces. Yep we’re crazy cats together! Lol. How’s that gorgeous bud of yours curing? I’ll be over to your journal for a catch up once I can get these kids to sleep.:D

At 5oz per you’ll be shouting Timber when they come down. And from the rooftops.
:meatballs:
If I hit 25oz I’ll be a very happy man, a very stoned happy man. And probably fall from the rooftops when I’m at work!

The 3500k lights make the grow room feel totally different, it’s like it’s gone HD. I love the way you can position each light. If you grow multiple strains like I’ve been recently it can be impossible to get the best from each plant if there are height differences between strains. These give so much more flexibility.

I need 3 please ! Sorry .. got excited .. where did you get em ? Cost ? Is it a 5 light string or can you run only 3 ? Nice set up!

Hey Hydro for some reason I missed your post. Sorry mate. Yeah I was exactly the same when I saw those heat sinks! You a can get them as a 3 light set up or the 5 light kit. You going to take a set on?

Not sure .. I have a vision for a new space ! A bloom room if you will .
The world is my oyster .
Max 3 plants flowering at once with room to move around and train 5x5 ? Or would a 4x4 scrog be more affordable both in lighting and cost , exhaust , but managed with side access panels . First world problems ❤️Loving your set up :)

I’ve got a 5x5 for bloom and a 4x4 for veg, if I had the space I’d go for the 5x5 every time. Makes it so much easier to work around the plants and space for heaters, fans, dehumidifier and the likes. Look forward to seeing what you go for.

Hey 420, hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I’ve been busy in the garden this morning and just made my first batch of hard candy. I’m really happy how they’ve turned out, they are in the fridge chilling but I couldn’t help but try a smidge and they taste great. Thanks to 420 members for helping out the process went very smooth.
Back to the garden and here are the auto updates.

Chem # 1
I’m really digging this plant. She’s got a great smell which I can’t put my finger on, almost a marzipan background. The trichome production is impressive and I’m 100% certain it’s going to make for some good squishing. I’ve given her a fresh res today :
25 ml bloom nutes
20 ml silicon
30ml calmag
15 ml pk booster
20 ml sumo bud booster
10 ml guard n aid healthy roots
Ph 5.7

Chem # 2
Pretty much the same as #1 but a lot smaller. Also had a fresh res today. She’s not going to set any records for yield but looks like it’s going to be great bud.

Northern lights x Big Bud

Both of these plants needed a light defol today and then I switch them both to full strength bloom nutes. Their fresh buckets contain:
40 ml bloom nutes
40 ml calmag
20 ml sumo bud booster
20 ml silicon
10 ml pk booster
10 ml guard n aid
Ph 5.7
Here is a picture of them both after their hair cut. I’ve also got the dehumidifier in this tent now so I can bring the humidity as close to 30/35 rh as I can and hopefully up trichome production and stop any chance of mold during late flower.

Funny ... I strongly believe 5x5 is the ticket but , I saved a $100 and went with gorilla 4x4 x7.11 (extendable) .. my logic was it would fit better beside the 4x2x7.11 (extendable)
I am currently running .

As I am staying 100 percent legal and like dwc buckets to independently run different strains vs Rdwc I figured it would work . Also, I would only be blooming 3 strains at a time with a mom in the 4x2.
I already have a Mars 144 from a previous upgrade so I picked up another to daisy chain it. Boring.. but adequate and cost saving for me.
I really really toiled over the 5x5 vs 4x4 but boiled down to height , (the 4x4 was extendable) , the space I have in mind for it , and I’m only blooming 3 . Hopefully all will be up and running sooner than later ! Namaste ❤️ @Lewydeville

The girls in the main flower tent will get fresh buckets tomorrow. Today I’ve just topped up and ph’ed to 5.7 as French Macron # 1 had dropped out to 5.1.

Sounds a great set up for three plants and one mother. I’ve heard the Gorilla brand are very well made good quality tents. I’m halfway through catching up on your journal at the moment. I don’t know why I haven’t been getting any notifications for it but looking good.

Thanks ! @Lewydeville ! I sure hope it's great quality! it was $200 more than a 5x5 1680D adjustable fusion hut ! But , the grid ceiling to hang the lights up to 300lbs sold me . I'm not very handy , and hanging the filter and lights in the 4x2 with one hanging bar was a bugger.
Also, I have the thick 1680 D , 4x2 . And even with one plant , negative air pressure and a filter I still get a faint odor so, The thicker the better for me !

Loving your journal / training!!! I'm a new hobbiest..I did not renew my prescription with 'legalization' because it's too easy for the man to restrict driver's licenses etc. I can possess more recreationally in my home as a private citizen than I could with my prescription so it was a no brainer to try to grow what I need. :). After years of exploring LP strains and terpene profiles I believe I know what works for my medical condition. I got serious about being successful at this hobby when I learned my neighbor is stage 4 terminal :(

Also, I think the gov't put the fear of God into the doctors because circa legalization all would renew, in light of 'legalization' they claim they need special certification and won't.
Who knows what the burecracy is but I decided to get out of that game . :)

You can’t beat growing your own for quality and knowing exactly how it’s been treated. They’ve just legalised medical cannabis in the UK but I don’t think many are being prescribed it. Our laws around weed are completely unacceptable in this day and age. Sorry to hear about your neighbour, I hope your meds can help them.
