LeoPot's First Grow! Indoor, Soil, 4 Strains, Mars Hydro TSW 2000

Day 50 / Day 27 of flower

Soil pH showed around 7 and run-off water pH was at 6.7. I fed them two days in a row now, on the second day I gave them a little bit less.
Should I be keeping them more saturated with water while flowering?

What they're getting right now:
Plagron Alga Bloom 3ml/L
Plagron Green Sensation 1ml/L
Water with all nutrients mixed in is at pH 6.3 and 730ppm.

I'll definitely buy a magnesium supplement. The nutrients I have are specific for flowering, I bought them at a grow shop. What would you consider to be proper flowering nutrients?

Still quite a few yellow leaves on BD. Red discoloration on BG seems to have gotten better.

Pic. 7 and 8: PWM on BG. The only two leaves affected, in this case I just carefully removed them.

Moving forward, I will order some calmag and flush with water at pH 6.4. Should I get different nutrients altogether, anyone have any experience with BioBizz products? Or should I just stick with what I got for this grow and supplement with calmag?

I'll leave you with some more nice pictures and I hope you'll have a great day today!:peace:

Pic. 10: BD is my favourite so far, she smells so amazing already.
When you say you got flowering nutrients from grow shop, what exactly is it.
They look hungry what ever your feeding now isn't working imo.

Day 60 / Day 37 of flower
Stressful week:lot-o-toke:

I have been feeding them almost every day now. I also read up a little bit about fertilizers.
What my plants are getting right now:
  • Alga Bloom: 5ml/L (NPK: 3 2 5)
  • Green Sensation: 1ml/L (NPK: 0 9 10)
  • Sugar Royal: 0.3ml/L (NPK: 9 0 0)
  • CalMag: 0.5ml/L
pH corrected to 6.4 after everything is mixed in.

From what I've read, there should be a higher phosphorus content in my nutrients for flowering?

I'm pretty sure that there are PM spores nested into my tent. I got it really cheap from a friend of a friend...
I've been managing the PM by removing it as best I can with a water/milk mixture every day. For the next grow I will either just clean the whole tent with fungicide or get a new one.

Other than that, I am amazed how happy my plants are on the first grow! They should be a bit over halfway through flowering and the smell is just amazing!

Pic. 1: Clockwise starting from top left: CQ, JH, BD and BG. BD is showing the worst deficiency, from comparing to plant abuse charts I think Nitrogen. But then again a little N deficiency is normal and good in flowering right?

Pic. 3: BD is definitely going to yield the most, also she smells the sweetest:kiss:

Pic. 4: BD main cola. What you see on the leaves is milk residue...

Pic. 5: BG is starting to change color.

Pic. 6: JH is so frosty, the pictures don't quite do her justice.

Pic. 7, 8, 9: Trichomes are getting milky now. It's not easy to get these pictures through a magnifying glass in focus.

Overall I'm really happy with them and really excited for harvest.

Thanks for all the information and conversation and for following my journal!
Have the nicest day possible and stay healthy!
:thanks:

Beautiful looking girls, they are in the home stretch.

Those yellow leaves are from the plant cannibalizing itself for nutrients. Your leaves are pretty light green too. You need to increase the nute strength. I think you said your ppm with nutes is about 730. What is the ppm of your water before adding nutes ? Did you subtract the water ppm from the ppm of the mixed nutes ? I'm in flower now & my ppm of my mixed nutes runs near 1000 ppm. My water ppm is about 150 so I'm only feeding 850 ppm of nutes.
That wpm sucks ! Hopefully it doesn't effect the buds. I'd be afraid to smoke it. But I have no idea if it's safe or not.
Mildew on a flowering plant can't be good though.

My tap water ppm is ~60. The water is at 1060 when it's all done and pH corrected. I use an organic pH up that is relatively weak, I think it adds quite a bit of ppm without really adding nutrients... I'll measure the water before pH correcting and afterwards tonight.
I looked around a little concerning PM on buds and the potential danger in smoking it. I need to read up some more but from what I've gathered so far you can smoke the bud if you continuously treat it. So I'll remove or treat it with water/milk mix or a mild fungicide like sodium bicarbonate until harvest. After harvest I'll wash the buds in a (very) mild fungicide, then twice in water and dry them in an uncontaminated place. Should something reappear while drying, I'll have to toss it.

Leo, from what I've gathered if we do a full Bud Washing the PM gets taken care of. Bud Washing

This is just a really short post. The PM is now in little patches on every plant and even on most buds.

Right now I'm thinking about an early harvest. Tonight I'll take a close look at the trichomes and snap some pictures but they're pretty milky already.
I'd switch to pH corrected water without nutrients now and harvest in 5-7 days. Ideal harvesting time would probably be around 1 more week than that...
I just don't want the PM to get even worse. The way it looks now, it shouldn't be a problem after bud washing and trimming. I'm scared that it could spread inside the buds, I really don't want to throw out my first grow!
