sorry about the crappy pics,, they were taken with the blackberry, you can read about it's hard life here have a great weekend :)

thanks guys :thankyou:

we have one more 1024,, and we would not be that unhappy if it were a male,, (for breeding purposes,,,) we will see..

on the clones, we used to give them a 1/2 dose of nutes, but they took longer to root,, I think it was because they had everything they needed,, the tops would be growing, and not much in the root dept.. so now we just use water, and a touch of Rhizotonic (is supposed to promote root growth) and they seem to be taking off in search of nutes,, anyways seems to be working..

now we have too many ready to go into pots,, and I was thinking, if I put an airstone in the bottom of the nursery, would that buy me some time, to let them sit in the nursery for a bit longer,, :hmmmm:

Ok, I'm in on this one...

AK is one of my wish list strains, and want to see how it works for you.

I don't know why I missed your posts in my J... LOL but I did want to thank you for stopping by and your input!

Herb Zen, I just read through your journal and I must say that you have a great setup. My last grow was Wonderberry, a cross between Bubbleberry and Williams Wonder, great strain. I am sure you will enjoy the sweetness of the Bubbleberry. I will be watching your grow like a stalker in the bushes. A stoned laughing stalker that is. :tokin:

:thanks: for stopping by :) The AK is really for a friend, he has some bad pain issues and hates the pharma's he is given, out of the different strains we have, this one helps him the most. We cut one down this past weekend,, my buddy had it 90% chopped up by the time I could grab the camera, so I have some pics, but not as many as I would like. we have clones though,,,

:thankyou: the bubbleberry is filling out nicely, and it will be the next ones to get the chop,, they are really starting to beef up,,

I'll get some pics up soon

So, some updates :)
first off,, the crown of the AK,, all that was left by the time I got my camera

this is the temp,, I got this at home depot for like 10 bucks,, I like the fact that I can see hi and low for the last 24 hours on it..
IM632.jpg

humidity and heat have been high,, one of my biggest battles right now...

thanks pres..

not looking forward to August..lol word on the street is that it is gonna be a scorcher.. I just do not have the amps to run a ac in there,, (well if I added them up, I probably do, but I really do not want to)

on a side thought,, I wonder if the new additions, because they were sprouted, and started life in a warmer climate,, if they will deal with the heat better than the ones who started life in a cooler area...

hey langa,, thanks.. weekend was productive..lol (had to fix my home computers...) hope you had a good one as well. I am sure your girls will turn out great,, you got a good setup there, and a good head on your shoulders.. :Hookah:

I was having a disagreement with my buddy. Sometimes trying to explain things is tough,, :)
He was saying that the Godbud was just retarded and we should just cut clones from it and kill it. I said it was looking better and tried to explain that it was just reverting to veg when he fed it nutes, and it was too soon and just burned the leaves. He just could not wrap his head around the fact that it wouls still be in a flowering stage, after being put in the new pot... He kept saying that when it grew roots and the bud on it died, then it was in veg, and that it was just a retarded clone..

I tried to explain (unsuccessfully) that it drew in the nutes from the bud to grow roots, and that it will grow roots, and still be in flower state. That the fact that it was rowing those funky 3 blade leafs, and not 'shoots' with opposing sets of leaves, that is was still in flower mode, that when it started with consecutive shoots/sets of leaves, that was when it was back in veg mode..

was I right? is there a better way to try to explain?

I will have to take a couple of pics of the white russian and sharksbreath tonight.. both are already just about to touch the light,, they are probably close to 5ft, and only 2 weeks into flower.. :yikes:

so, options? My buddy said they will just stop when they see they got no more light,, I don't think so,,

I think it will grow right past the light, so if it did,, would it kill the crown, or would the energy it gets from the lower part that is getting full light be enough to grow the top? what happens if it hits the ceiling? lol

I saw this on another thread..

..
here is a pic how it looks, but all u have to do is,with 2 finger sqeeze the main stem in the middle and bend it over..dont break it off just bend it over..google supercrop it will tell u more about it thats how i learn it worked really gd..i did it 2 weeks and veg they say u can do it all though veg stage..this is my first time doin it i did it once..ima find out if you can do it in flowering stage becuz my plants are 3feet

what would happen if I did that to the white russian now? would it help/hurt?
just trying to get some ideas for this one,,, the clones will get topped before leaving the veg cab in the future..

I saw a few journals on here that did some super cropping. Of the top of my head SanibelGreen did this to a few of his. To the best of my knowledge it worked out well for him and I do believe he may have been around the same time as well.

I think you would be fine although you do need to get the snap just right. Do you have a male to practice on? :cheesygrinsmiley:
