Lemon OG Candy Philosopher Seeds From Cannapot

Oh my. Good luck my friend. I think when I run these again I will flip by week 3-4. They should still be a good size after flowering stretch.
This is a good example of when it's good to have a mother and take clones. All the same would be so much less to consider daily. These are actually 4 different phenos. They look like they range from full sativa to an indica wearing mittens. 3 of them are fairly similar in height. I can't wait to smell me some Lemon OG candy bud!

I took some clones of her. I was going to make a mother out of one. I even managed to get some clones to root in a glass of water. Perlite clones are the easiest way that I've come across.
I still have 4 seeds left. It would be fun to see how many of the different phenos I get.

I suppose the gap in my understanding stemmed from my hydro experiences in that my microbes are flushed out regularly, whereas in soil, the water flows much slower through the media.
Yeah the microbes stay in the soil assuming you don't let it dry out too far or starve them. I tell people, I don't feed my plants in soil.....I feed the soil and the soil microbes feed the plant. Keep the herd happy and the plant is happy.

I believe our difference is that my herd dies every 3 days, so I replace them every 3 days with a new herd. You guys in soil can actually inject a herd and grow it bigger.

They're well today the tall one is keeping steady height wise but she's branching out. This plant could have filled the whole tent if I had the room. My morning check today showed me she grew to within 18 inches of the back wall stealing light from her sister. A little surgery and leaf plucking on a few of the side runner branches and we're good to go.

The others are stretching to beat the band. Nice.

The variegation is showing on 3 of them now. The heavy indica leaner (mittens) is the one that isn't affected yet.

The soil is holding up well I think. Everything is looking proper so far. Fingers crossed only 56 more days to possible finish.:p I have no reason to think it won't be fine as is. I hope I can smell the bud when it comes. The barnyard is still real strong when I put my head in there. :) Hope everyone has a great day.

I found a really information rich site regarding soil and how it and roots interacts. Teas and things also. I barley comprehend it but there's very important thongs there. I'm not fixing that typo. It's pretty dry there so a little levity goes a long way. More things than a person can imagine about soil here: Microbe Organics

Great find, SO. Thanks! Cheers

Whew, what a rabbit hole that Microbe Organics article was. That was a good piece of reading for me. A lot of basic science regarding how a plant accesses food at the root level is covered. The language he used was in the realm of doc buds from what I've read of docs'. I hope to understand more how to integrate how I interact with them. Hehe I understand the words and most theories he brings, but it's going to be a while before I really know how to put things to work on my own. This is a good read for sure if you want to understand how a plant operates.
The Microbulator (tea bucket assembly) he lays out looks very interesting for growing microbial life in. It's very different in theory from any I've seen.
It's Mothers Day. Happy Mothers Day everyone.
Give your Mom a squeeze, a call, or have a happy memory.
Mother Earth is our Mother too. We owe everything to her.

Good morning Joe. Happy Mothers Day! How's your mother to be doing?
Not looking good over here sadly .

Will have definite answer this Wednesday .

But we are trying to stay positive . Thanks for asking . And first road trip this week .

:Namaste:

One week into flowering today (77 + 7) and they are showing me their flowering structure and there's pre flowers everywhere. The stretch is still on for the 3 short ones. Tall one is slow to stretch still thank you very much.
They look like the soil is holding up well with good color and no deficiencies/excesses I can tell so far. I haven't seen any fungus gnats in there lately. I did see one weeks ago so I hit the top of the soil with a light spritz of Safers' Garden Dust. It's a bacteria,B.T., and kills the maggots in 10 days or so. I also have a fan running at floor level keeping the air moving in the lower parts of the plants. I guess the fan is helping keep them at bay as well as keeping the lower section from getting too damp.
One week out of three in the stretch is gone by and I'm feeling some relief in that the tall one doesn't seem to want to continue to grow out of control. She's still too tall right now, I'm thinking compromise all the time with her. I don't think any of the others can catch up but might come close.
This is the most exciting grow yet! Here's some flowering structure pics. Enjoy your day.
