Lembatoast's 2017 - Last Hurrah - Grow Journal

Looks like a place I could call home :)

Absolutely.

Happy first day of summer TOAST. :hugs:  The canna farm is looking wonderfully inviting. I'm sharing your picture of the new clones in their bags on a cloning thread I found yesterday. They need to see your genius at work. :kisstwo:

So I get to go to sleep for a couple hours today and I wake up to this:
DSCN115013.JPG
This one and 4 others the same way. It is confined to the potted plants, the ones in the ground didn't show any effect from the 120 degrees at all. The ones that got burned were last years clones/mother's so they were old ass suckers any way, but its still hard to lose any of the plants for any reason. Well, I think I'm going back to sleep for a while, then get up around 12:30/1:00 am when it should be cooled down to 90 degrees or so and put on the head light and head up the HILL. BOOT HILL LOL Peace TOAST

My two outdoor girls got scorched. They may survive, but they are hurt. It was 122, but I think they may have been ok if I had given more water. The tips are crispy, but there are still signs of life.

Heatwave sucks, that's for sure.

Alright, Here's an Indoor Update: They have been in 11/13 sense June 7th with a 72 hour dark period to start with that started on June 4th. I am continuing to feed them the Grow Nute's until the start of the 3rd week, when I will flush once real good before I start the Flowering regiment.

When I opened the door at 8:00pm tonight it was still 92 degrees in the room. With every thing going, it will run right at 83 degrees until the lights go off at 7:00am. Hey I got a MATH problem I need help with - If I have 41 bagged clones,
DSCN11606.JPG
that have to travel approximately 50 feet from indoors to out doors at night, ( What is the Capital of Iceland ), just kidding, How many bags do I have to carry at one time to make the least number of trips? ROTFL TOAST

So this guy is over and ask me, "How many do you have to carry, to make the least number of trips, I said " 41 ". He say's " No I mean how many do you have to carry each time to make the least number of trips." I said "41". He still didn't get it. But he's the guy that wanted to know what he should do to his Timers when the time changes, I told him, nothing, plants don't tell time. to this day he hasn't got that concept. L8R TOAST

Morglie, The big El Fuego plant last year was in Planter #2, the plants in Planter #1 were Super Silver Haze. The crazy super grower in Planter #1 along with the plant next to it are Robert Bergman's GOLD LEAF. He wont say what the strains are, but its a 60/40 Indica High Bread. All I know is when it's grown correctly indoors it is devastating, one of the strongest Couch Lock strains I've ever smoked. Here's some pix of the guy that I got it froms last indoor crop.

looks good hey. He has never grown them out doors before, so when he comes over to see them, he's in awe of there out door size potential as am I. I have never seen a plant get that big that fast, it's amazing. Oh and it's got the CRAZY STINK. Hope that answered you questions. TOAST

I got the Net out for the Geo-Planter and checked it out. Its got 72 squares in the 4 X4 net. So I need to have 72 Tops, 1 for each square. I got that handled no problem
DSCN11656.JPG
now I just have to flush once and start the Flowering Regiment, then wait for them to stretch and then set up the net. I think. I have never done this before, so I really don't know how it's going to go. TOAST

I'm curious to see the advice on how to use the net.
If it were a scrog it would be on there by now.

If it's to support floppy colas, I'd thnk you would want to catch the last 5-6 inches of stretch, wihch would be what? when the buds look like thimbles? Or maybe you want to support lower branches, so you install halfway through stretch? When the buds look like minature fireworks displays?

I'm waiting for an answer too :)
