thank you. now i can see whats going on. the Jumbo 180w stretched allot more it seems. the HGL seems to be fuller with buds. how far is each light? thanks for the pics + rep if i can:goodjob: this pic shows me allot more on how these plants are doing vs each other and their true size.

Hey Mmmmmmmick, hehe, thanks for stoppin by mate. I am gettin really excited honestly about finally gettin this test over with and cuttin these ladies down on friday and starting the next round with both lights over a 4x2 scrog in the tent with my 600w hps over the other 4x2 tray.

I sit back and look at both sides and it looks like the HGL 205w is definately ahead, but once I move the buds around under the jumbo I am always kinda surprised. I had to train the jumbo side so the tops run more or less horizontal. I ran out of head room with the plants under the jumbo so I had to train them to keep them in the coverage area. So honestly, I think it could be close in gpw and am really lookin forward to doing another run with them. +rep

As irish asked, how far away are the lights from the tops right now?

I think HGL has a slight advantage being closer to the tops.

The lights are a good 30 feet from the tops now, lol...

I started trimmin' around 4pm yesterday and finished late with lots of smoke breaks. Planned on harvesting the spinner last night as well but there was more work than I anticipated. I just now finished cleaning the trays and the tent out and am finally gettin ready to start harvesting the spinner! More work.....

yep yep! snagged pictures this time. was tryin to get too much done yesterday so didnt break out the camera, but today I went and dropped the little one off at the grandparents so I have plenty of time to enjoy this one and take pics.

just did a wet weight on my runt, which i was hoping to get about 3/4 of an oz off of and it weighed in at 132g. So I am feelin super stoked, she was the smallest in there and i will certainly pull over an oz on her once dried. she has some sisters in there that are honestly 3x what she had on her!!!

Hey guys super sorry, was all over the place this weekend and here I am still up at 4 30 am monday morning cleanin, preparing next months round, res changes, pffftt does it ever freakin end???

But I feel pretty accomplished and dont have too much work left to do for tomorrow so thought I'd check in and post some pics.

Notice the top cola running across the top, all of those buds below came from that tiny ass space in between the bottom buds and that top. Pretty amazing if ya ask me! I've never seen anything like it!

And here's pretty much what an average plant looked like coming out.

So thats it, that was my first round in the spinner. I will probably post a separate journal with more pics of the entire grow, if I find some spare time. Either way its been fun and am really lookin forward to my next run hopin that I can get all the plants to weigh in at 317g+, but 19-20oz for my first run with a 400w is rockin in my mind! This being my first run I feel pretty damn good and wouldnt hesitate to recommend the system to anyone. hint hint, if you do wanna purchase one I could get ya a great deal as I have gotten in pretty good with the guys over there.

Thanks mate, dude, soon as I find some patients for these meds I'mma be purchasing another spinner for sure!!!! Couldnt have been happier.

The led buds are dryin away, I'll have pics once they are all dry. But I was rushin like crazy the day I took them down and didnt get too many pics. I will say that both together are less than the spinner for sure, lol. The spinner is drying between 2 racks and the LED's are split between 1 so I'm a lil'scared in all honesty, lol, especially after the big pull off the spinner, the led's look so miniscule.

Yeah man, that Green Crack has been a good mother for me for the past year or so. I am definately keeping the blue moon rocks around as well. The smell is very close to great coffee so really looking forward to the finished cured smoke. Took a small sample that got tore off in the spinning action about 2 weeks ago and it was bomb as shit then, so cant wait for some finely cured bmr!

well even if ur led harvest isn't good, screw it bro you have a spinner! just use the leds for veg then use the hps for flowering the spinner. i hope you get the weight you want from the spinner. after seeing ur leds buds and comparing them to the spinner they dont even come close, both lights put together probably wont touch it. wish you the best of the luck. shit at least we are both done with a long hall and in a few more days we will have some dry bud to smoke on. i cant wait to twist one up of my buds and i am sure the same for you?

I am actually using the led's to flower for the first 4 weeks and then switching to my 600w. Since the LED's stack nodes so tightly I figure they'll be perfect for veg and the first 4 weeks of bloom then flip'em over to the 600w and let'em pack donkey dicks on. That is til I get my next spinner, then the LED's will be used for veg only. I'm actually burnin some of my green crack mixed with ppp right now that was harvested from my 600w scrog a few weeks ago, but certainly wanting to check out that LED herbage and the bmr, hope it sends my ass to the moon!!

that sounds like a good idea. or use them for the 1st 2weeks into flowering when their stretching then slowly add in the hps so u dont stress them out to much, and grow some big ass buds! IMO i just dont think those leds can touch ur HPS. even if they get 1gpw, its needs to be good buds like ur hps can do, fat and solid buds, not smaller fluffy buds like i have gotten in the past. all ur buds should look like ur spinner buds, even more so if your trying to be a care giver, everyone wants good buds that are dense and fat to smoke on. how do the leds buds feel to you? are they solid dense? is their mostly smaller buds?
