What strains did you get?
I ordered some seeds off Strainfly.... not landrace tho was some Alien crosses.
llegal Alien (Alien grenades x Alien sour diesel) X
Breath of green dragon ( (Hindu kush x Afghan kush) x blueberry trainwreck))
Where did you get your clones??
The guy I got my seeds from was REAL close to where I go in Ontario is the spring/fall/summer. By close I'm talking 15 minute detour.
Thinking of stopping by on my way up to the cottage this spring and get clones and do a round outdoors for the 1st time in my life and celebrate the end of prohibition.

I fell off the wagon into the gutter and down the storm sewer.... didn't make it to the sewer sewer .. but close.
I "elected" to of course grow free-bees.... again.
What's wrong with me?

Recently found out Next. Gen moved back to Canada....so many stories behind Romulan and so many lead back to Next Gen as having what's highly considered the "most" legit....snagged up some Romulan Haze and also got his Romulan X Blueberry(interested to know where his came from) as a freebie.
Says he releasing straight up Romulan this spring....so hoping to land some of those!

LOL, I just bought another batch last week. Though I actually needed some of those so I was justified. At least that is what I keep telling myself. It won’t be me for a while! I’m at the back end of my outdoor season and already have some Blue Dream in line for the indoor Tiny Closet grow. There’s only one plant happening over winter and that’s her. I’m also leaning strongly towards a single Panama in the raised garden bed next summer. I’m finding out that it has some genetic traits i’m very interested in (specifically, the recessive gene that hinders the process of CBG conversion to other cannabinoids - so you get a higher CBG content, like around 3%).
So maybe some Maui Wowie will make it into a big organic high brix pot next summer... but that’s a ways away...
I’m hoping I’ll get to see someone run something from there in the meantime.
ANd both those decisions depend a bit on how the rest of my season plays out in terms of where the sun is and how the weather conditions pan out. I have enough plants at different stages in now to get a decent read on timing...

He also didn't seem to think much of Phylos when I told him that the Malawi genetic reports seemed to back up it was a rare genetic sequence.

Phylos does not do genetic testing. They map correlations between strains.
So its based on the word of the submitter as to if its legit or not.
I have several reasons for not using Phylos."

Do you know the parameters they use to determine relations vs rarity?
Cannabis is all one plant with different expressions expressed by being grown in different climates. So really all cannabis is related.
How do they say Chem is not related to OG or NL or Skunk when they all came from the same breeding stock? (Mexi, Lumbo, Affy)
NL is Hawaiian x Affy. Well Hawaiian is Mexi x Affy.
Chem is using the same parental stock.
Its all marketing. Dont fall for it.
There is no altruism in the pot game."

I hate guys like that, they seem to just want to spread doubt about it for no real reason. If he had been like, "You should use what'stheirface seeds instead," it'd be obvious what his motivation was.
And Phylos IS mapping DNA as part of Phylos Galaxy project.
