LadyGaea's Cannaversary Grow - Tangielope & Super Lemon Haze With High Brix

I'm in as well, cant miss a good HB show! Well dunno bout the bbq, but the bud will be great!
Your ladies are looking really good LG, you say you're new to growing? Well, you are certainly doing great!
Yay! Welcome dajerm! Thanks! I'm a reformed vegetable grower...lol!

Horticulture is in my blood. Never thought I'd finally be blessed with the family green thumb!

Funny story...My mum found my brother's starting seeds in his foil lined closet back in the early 70's. She replaced them with some other seeds, probably from her garden ...haha! It was awesome! Made for a favorite story at Thanksgiving dinner for years later.

Thanks to Ween for passing the word - I didn't know you were running the Kit, LadyG. :Namaste:

Your plants look well fed, so don't be concerned about your feeding rates. As they start to fill the pots, it'll be more important to keep the dosages up. That concern over the color of new growth is something I understand. Sometimes, the contrast is startling, but it's normal and usually a good sign. In fact, when I don't see it I'm a little disappointed.

If you trust your growing skills, you should keep them in small pots for as long as you can handle them. Doc stalls his until they need water daily. But that can be tricky. I'm not attentive enough to mine, so I typically upcan earlier.

Looking great so far! :thumb:
Thanks Graytail! Welcome! I should be able to easily keep them small. I only have the 2 to watch. I wanted to give them room this grow. I will be setting up a small veg tent soon to start 2 more. The idea of purposely making them root bound is new to me, but I see the benefits of it now in practice.

Van Stank keeps a Barbie in his shorts? :hmmmm: ... .don't wanna know about firing 'er up ...

Ok so I have been watching this one with some veiled enthusiasm ,it is nice to see another chef, and learn some new recipes...Nice plants for sure, seem to be abundant right now on the site in general, but that brainiac smoothy man that was good.. Dont really like Blueberries which doesnt make me popular where I live lol but that was good as hell with the blueberries... As I am having to use organic remedies for many minor ailments and one major one, May need to start chemo soon so I find smoothies are an easy way to not only keep me fed ish but also stays down Kinda important... I even expanded your idea, hope you dont mind, by adding mix to gelatin, needs a little tweekin but formed nice and was tasty at 1 am after a vomit session.... sorry too descriptive.... anyway thanks for some fresh ideas on the same ole smoothy world...

Now your going to have an extra hard time getting amber trichs at all, using the Kit those are rare so I'm told. Duggan and others say that once you think they're ready, give me another week or two then chop. Once the white pistils turn brown and receded and the girls stop drinking, then it's time. You can always ask the crew whe they get close.

Happy Easter!

:passitleft:
I spent 5 mins thinking about a reply about the Amber trichs post before I scrolled down to see that you said exactly what I was thinking, get out of my head; never going to get those 5 mins back:laugh:.

That's what I get for being late lol. Looking good ladyg

Welcome MH! Thanks for joining me! I don't mind at all if you tweak a recipe and share what works for you. It may help others!

I'm sorry to hear about the chemo. That stinks. What ever works to get calories, fats, and protein in. Bone broth would be good too if you can get it down. It will hydrate and give you minerals and protein. You can add gelatin to that for more protein too as it will be liquid when you heat it.
I'll look through my recipes and see what else I have that is easy on the digestion.

If you can get in to see a nutritionist, that may give you more ideas as well. Chemo weakens the immune system big time and strips you of certain vitamins and minerals.

If your doctors don't talk to you about nutritional needs, bring it up,

Let me know how you are doing!
