Great try.....but I gotta have my chocolate, decidant BROWNIES!!!!!
 
Busy day...made some turkey bone broth, found a way not to make gluten and sugar free brownies, made some date energy bites for hubby to take with him when he goes out cycling, and cleaned the house.

The girls are still looking good. Pulled off a couple of the lowest leaves that were a bit yellow and gave everyone a drink of water. There both about 9" in height. Stems are nice and thick. The SLH smells divine!
The catnip is so cute and likes Doc's kit as well.

Can't wait for these girls to flower! :slide:

So I have learned a lot these past few weeks by using Doc Bud's kit.
1. I wasn't feeding enough
2. I wasn't giving the right nutrients a the right time
3. I wasn't waiting until the soil was truly dry before watering
4. Environmental controls are just as important as the nutrients
5. I was chopping too early. I wasn't letting my buds fully develop and bulk up.

I'm pretty stoked right now! I am hoping for some nice bud this go around! I love seeing the action day to day and documenting it with pics!

On yer buds and chopping early, do u have a loup or USB microscope???

Best way to determine when ready and harvest date.
I've also had some pretty airy buds/harvest but seems after a couple months of cure they dense up more
 
Yes, I have a USB Microscope. I need to find my tripod to use with it and get a long USB cable. I wasn't getting enough amber in the trichomes in past grows.

Where are my manners. Happy Easter to you as well!
 
I have a selfy stick clamped to my tripod
Then I can reach way in the back of my tent real easy
Think my USB cable is 10'

I don't usually do much Amber, cept on GDP and other indica, but for sure full milky and maybe a few ambers
 
Now your going to have an extra hard time getting amber trichs at all, using the Kit those are rare so I'm told. Duggan and others say that once you think they're ready, give me another week or two then chop. Once the white pistils turn brown and receded and the girls stop drinking, then it's time. You can always ask the crew whe they get close.

I see that you use Medjool Dates in your cooking, these are one of life's sweet pleasures. Love them!

Thanks Ween! I will be asking for help I'm sure. My last buds were all very airy, but when cured they made a fine vape with a lot of terpenes. I had never really experienced anything like it before. I only smoked dirt weed in high school except for one time when a boss gave me a bud that his brother sent him from Hawaii. THAT was awesome!

I just got a baby rose shrub today from my sister in-law. It's going to get Doc's magic too. lol. My girls and the catnip look so good, I'm thinking about throwing some in my coffee!:rofl:

Medjool dates are awesome. Dates are such a healthy food. The Medjool is the King of dates by far. I think they would make a great BBQ sauce. As the season nears, I'll be working on that for sure!

The family had a brunch today. I came home and passed out for an hour. I love naps! Hubby is passed out on the couch with two cats on him. :laugh: Enjoy your roast!:yummy:

So...I'm a dope. I had a perfect gluten free brownie recipe already! I have so many recipes all over the place. I made them 2 years ago! It has sugar though...I am going to experiment next by replacing the sugar with date sugar (dehydrated and ground dates) and coconut palm sugar...which has a lower glycemic index. I will leave the sweetened chocolate in the recipe and use dark chocolate also sweetened with coconut palm sugar. I found a source that has it and also has organic cocoa butter that I can use in making some cannabis cream with :) The recipe calls for almond flour and sorghum flour. Sorghum is a healthier gluten free grain. I'm looking forward to some healthier weed brownies for sure that don't skimp on the chocolate taste!:slide::slide:
