What’s Update Seedsman Sponsored Journal - How Does Your Garden Grow? – 100% Organic Garden & Brain Rehab – Feb 26, 2018

Hello 420 Family & Supporters,

Nothing to report except we are still on schedule and there are little preflower signs, like calyx, yellowing bud sites and a few pistils.

When do I start adding the bloom nutes?

Much love Sweet Coffee Lovers!

17 pages down, and I made it!

Love the garden and your girls are looking real good. I see your using some biobizz nutes, I started with these and had really good results. As with starting bloom nutes, for my autos I always waited until week 5. You might see some pistils and pre flowers coming out but with how fast these grow keeping up those veg nutes a little longer will really help once flowering starts for real.

I just had my longest lasting headache lockdown, 6 days of brain pain. Can you believe it? Today being the first day out of that fog. But I still need ice packs today, which makes it very cold in winter. :) Canadian chill...brrr

How is yourself DW?
Glad to hear your headache has gone away. 6 days is WAY TOO LONG. Have you found anything to help?

Hello 420 Family & Supporters,

Okay we have progress like it’s growing out of style.

Lady #1 - finally putting some yardage on. She is slow, but I think I need to take a few leaves off her so the inside can get light. She looks like she needs more breathing room. Whatcha all think...

----------------------

Lady #2 is reaching for the roof like she’s at basement party. I removed underlings that were dominating space and energy. I only want to direct energy to my tops. I haven’t touched the ladies since I put them under ropes but you can see they are pulling with their might.

What ropes do you mean Lady G? here i go talking to myself...just humour me. hahahaha

I’m gonna share a trade secret with you.

I use waterproof string to train my ladies and here is what I use and reuse.

"Artificial Sinew Bobbin 20 Yard 50 lb Test Waxed Beading Craft Thread (Natural)"

***this is waterproof, waxed, FLAT and indestructible string. The legend goes...once you buy this very cheap role of string, it arrives, you unravel it about 2- 3 metres, about 10 feet in conversion, go outside, find a tree, throw one side of the flat string over a limb of a tree. Grab the string and hang from it like a swing. I shiz you not, it guarantee's to hold the entire weight of a man hanging, orrr the branch will be the first to break, not the string.

For all you geeks like me that like cool experiments, I challenge you to go and get this really cheap role of string and try this experiment. IT's SO MUCH FUN.:peace:

***The concept of this string is supposed to mirror the strength and longevity of actual sinew, which is the gut of a deer and other animals. But instead of being cruel to capture deer for their gut sinew, they made this string to replace the demand for gut sinew.

***How do I know this, I use it all the time and I have worked with the sinew of a deer and it was the exact same strength except real sinew dries out to be rigid hard because the air oxidizes the gut string. This artificial sinew string is waxed and makes it waterproof. So much that I reuse these strings over and over again after I wash them under the tap and dish soap.

Of course if you have bugs, you don't want to reuse them. But if you have control over your environment and you want to try something different and cheap, give this string a chance, even if it's just to try the experiment.

Talking about string for our gardens can't be more fun and goofy. Adapt and share the knowledge in a fun way. My thanks to you for being here.

Check out the tip spreading aka stacking that happens. Always want them to increase the zigzag so I get wide buds.

Waiting till week 5 to give nutes which will only be in a few days...yikes! hahahahaha Crosses fingers

Thank you for guiding me across the bridge.

for my autos I always waited until week 5. You might see some pistils and pre flowers coming out but with how fast these grow keeping up those veg nutes a little longer will really help once flowering starts for real.

This is interesting advice. I don’t know anything much about autos. I’ve grown one which was ‘mediumly’ successful - and boy it is a fast show, eh? So recent;y I’ve read a trusted source talking about how during the stretch period a real lot of root development continues, in preparation to support flowering. These two pieces of info/advice fit together well I think. So if stretch in a regular is 2-3 weeks, it makes sens to think that an extra 10days or so veg treatment once flower starts on an auto could be really good for root development. I’m totally trying this next time I grow an auto (which will probably be next southern summer) outside. But I’d be happy for you to test the theory for me first, G! ;):battingeyelashes:

Edited to correct ‘men’ to ‘me’ in that last sentence

Hey G2! Have you ever considered Doc Buds Kit? I figured it'd be right up your alley.
This is also excellent advice. :thumb: Can’t get better quality meds I don’t think. And ween... your plants look stunning :bravo:
