Lady Cannafan's Seedsman Comparative Grow Banana Jealousy ViparSpectra KS5000

I have never done mushrooms before do they take much space to grow also are they difficult to grow. I have not eaten shroom in a long time and think they would be fun to grow. Where do you get spores to grow them? šŸ‹
Open šŸ‘ says me

Thanks, Jiggi do you grow them in a tent in the dark? I will have to research it. If so, I could grow them after I have my plants put outdoors. It would be an outlaw grow because I do not think they are legal in my state. I have read they are legal in some states last I remember you would get arrested for having them here in Massachusetts. šŸ‹

Check my siggy for the Midwest Grow Kits and Spore Genetics thread. With the help of these two sponsors, you will be well on your way!
Edit: here's the link: Also check out the fungi grow journals. Lots of us members cultivating them. :)

Ive not grown them before I'm looking into it myself. As for legally.. I don't care lol.. šŸ¤«.. I do believe they're legal to purchase and all that it's just illegal once you grow them. Funny how laws are. šŸ˜‡
They grow in a bag, so it's easy to keep them outta sight.

Some are in grow bags called all-in-one, some start in jars, some are grown in shoeboxes. Lots of different methods. I've been trying them all.

I checked for roots when I was giving the kids a drink and there were a couple with roots peeking out of the drain holes already.
SO, I need to get my geopots ready ....like very soon.

We wait for these plants, but they do not wait for us. LOL

I'm stealing the seedling mat from the kids. I think they are doing great and don't need that now.
Mushroom spawn jars I did this morning need it more.

I'll have some pics later of the growth on these kids.
I did that last week for some clones. It's been so cold, I was thinking about blessing them with it again! Suppose to see 70 today but was 35 last night. Spring can't come fast enough

It's going great here Lady! I had a lapse and am back! So don't try the light separation without vipar engineering oking it please. You would be running the driver into an open load and we don't know if that's going to effect the driver. I couldn't get that one answered.

I agree with you there. I sent a private message in to Valerie last week on this, and no response as yet. She's a busy lady!

Welcome to the Seedsman comparative grow!

First of all, I am not eligible for any prizes or contest considerations. I am in this for the fun and promoting our sponsors. I want to thank @SeedsMan for allowing me to be a part of it. I hope to learn from, and have a fun rewarding experience with all of the other participants in this comparative grow.
So, on to the details!

SeedsMan Banana Jealousy

Description

Banana Jealousy is a three-way hybrid cross of Banana Cream, Jealousy and Gelato 41 strains. This is a high-yielding strain that is relatively easy to grow such that even complete novices can have great success with it in all environments.
Banana Jealousy plants grow tall and can exceed 200cm. in height, especially when grown outdoors. Indoors, flowering takes between 8 - 10 weeks with high production between 450 - 600 gr/m2. Outdoors, or in a greenhouse, each plant can produce up to 750 gr. in ideal conditions. Suitable climates for outdoor cultivation include temperate, warm and hot regions. Northern hemisphere harvests will be ready in late September / early October while those in the southern hemisphere should be ready to harvest in March. While resistance to mould is fairly high these plants are very loud and indoor growers are advised to use good carbon air filters.
Plants produce plenty of resin and are therefore excellent for extract production. Growers can expect fruity scents and flavours (sweet, banana, Skunk) with THC levels of up to 28% while CBD is low at less than 1%, making this a very potent strain.

I'm using the same light! Excellent light! Just finishing a Peanut Butter Breath and Gelato grow now.

YEY! I grew Peanut Butter Breath on the last grow, and Blue Gelato #41. The PB breath was from a friends' outdoor grow. My grow was affected badly from storms in January knocking out my power for extended periods of time interrupting the plants' light cycle. Wound up with nanners and pollen. But, I still managed to get some decent bud from the plants in the end.
This time the lights will be used start to finish and I will get the full effect of the power.

I am wanting the KS 5000 but it's a bit over my allowance right now, maybe in a couple months? Any news on Vipar bringing out new stock? They might lower the price so I could make a purchase. I have the KS3000 & KS2500
