cost effective to one may not be to another. if you get 400 grams your result may be comparable, but then I don't know this strain. i say that because you were saying your leds are equal to a 400 watt bulb, and a gram per watt is the bare minimum for a scrogged grow.
i just did a cost analysis on a led system and found it would take 19 runs to pay for them with the savings in electricity. that was brand specific though, so your's may be different. a friend stated that it would work in his room because he is running a major air conditioning unit with hid's, and the lower temps of leds would negate that need. so it's all relative.

LA Affie isn't a highest yielder and I don't expect to get a gram per watt but would love it if I do. I haven't really ever weighted my previous harvests so I don't have anything to compare it to, it terms of one of my own grows. Either way, I'm sure it will be some very good smoke. I've decided to just water with pure RO water from here on out.

I figure I've already given them a lot of nutes and wants to make sure the buds are fully flushed because I've always found that to be one of the most important things when growing high quality bud. I've got some great looking bud before that just didn't taste good and had a bad high so I never smoked it again. Flushing is key.

I'm most likely done with defoliating this grow because they're likely 3 weeks away from harvest and I think I've already done enough with them. It has helped their growth and expansion every single time though.

Buds like light, and stripping away leaves that block light is beneficial, it doesn't stress or stunt the plants in any way. Just make sure to not go completely overload...Also, make sure to be feeding correctly and have good soil. I definitely feel that defoliating increases yield and potency. I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise, both here and in other forums.

Roughly 2 more weeks until harvest. Haven't fully flushed yet, just been giving them pure RO water.
