Do you recommend pulling off leaves at a certain time of the day? The lights go out here in one hour and I fed them with a watering today. I was thinking I'll let them absorb the nutrients from today without any type of stress what so ever (even if it is very very minimal) and then defoliate tomorrow when I wake up.

Update:

Did some defoliation this morning. I took out a lot of leaves and it really opened up the canopy to more direct light.

The buds swelled up over night! I can see a noticeable change between last night and this morning, these girls are fast finishers! Estimating roughly 31 more days, that would put me at 57 days in the window of 55-60 days finishing for L.A. Affie.

I haven't had any experience with that strain. But that looks about right, 4 maybe 5 weeks.

Thanks! I keep feeding with the full line of Canna nutrients (Terra Flores, Cannazym, Rhizotonic, and Boost) along with molasses and epsom salts, they seem to love it! I've seen pictures that L.A. Affie turns purple near the end of flowering. These are some dark leaves but no sight of purple on the buds so far. Smells are out of this world, super old-school hashy flavor and very sweet.

I'm giving them basically full red spectrum through the adjustments on my light. They seem to love it, and its creates much less heat. I've lowered the lights closer to the plants. I'll measure the exact distance tomorrow, now I'm stuck on the couch watching the World Series. Go Giants!
