Krissi's Side Project: Gorillas Like Lemons, Too - Photoperiod 2021

I've seen it, obviously...I like my jars?
That looks delicious! Do you still have to burp it the same way?
It is bagged weed lol jk thank you for asking about the burping, I was also curious
Thanks RM, it's Chiquita Banana from @Weed Seeds Express! And yes, burping is the same but sooooooo much easier. That's 7 jars worth in three bags! Much more air circulation for even drying and chlorophyll dissipation too.
Oh yum! The length of time you cure your bud, you'll be able to smoke it by April! And it will be fire I'm sure!

Burping is the same regardless of the container, sorry. I find it a lot easier and much more efficient to burp in bags over jars. I save the jars for curing.
Yea cause I need to go buy more jars, speaking of jars lol

For really big harvests you can cure in turkey bags inside sealed buckets. That's what the folks growing trees outside tend to do!
Hmm I have buckets I can use...why the turkey bag specifically in regards to other types of bags? Is that a stupid question? Who thought one day, "Eureka! Turkey bags!" Do we know it's curing origin?

Turkey bags don't have a built in structure to them like most other types of bag, so they can filled with buds and stood up on a counter or shelf with the buds at the bottom and not tip over. You can spread the opening out wide and it will stay there to allow a lot more airflow to the buds spread out across the bottom compared to ones stacked in a 4" wide jar.

You can't cure in them alone because they are not 100% airtight, so there is some transfer of moisture through the bag. If you are in a really low RH environment then keeping them in buckets between burping might be a good idea.

For curing, you need airtight, so the bags can go straight into the buckets, which works really well if you have 2 or more harvests in a single bucket.

The first person I saw explain their use was @Derbybud.

Man, great info. I bookmarked this page to think about in a few weeks. It must work similar to a wine decanter? So, exposing to more Oxygen at one given time will cure it quicker and better?

The bags are for the burping part of the dry rather than the cure. It's a lot easier to burp 3 bags rather than 7 jars!
Thank you Shed!!!
