Krissi's Dutch Monkey In A Barrel: A CannaPot Sponsored Banana Blaze Grow, Using Prescription Blend

highya Krissi,

That's the same way I do, fix whatever problem pops up. You are doing very thoughtful adjustments, which prepare them for being big ladies. Good job, ladyfair! Happy Smokin'
I think that's the best way to handle these girls, one little thing at a time! They all add up Bode!

Another feed day today for the littles later on. Pudding is less dry than the others cause I kept trying to feed her more! Hungry little thing!

Pudding's color looks better all the time. Both girls are doing well and I'm happy with their progress at days 24 and 25 above ground.

Aphrodite at 24 days is pictured first. Pudding at 25, second.

Happy growing and smoking :passitleft:

Wow, that's a really nice recovery. The upper fans are almost back to normal and I honestly didn't think the lower ones were going to even come back as much as they have. Great job.

Thanks Jon, I appreciate the support and positive vibes from you. She wasn't nearly as bad to handle as Bubs last grow round to figure out-thank God. See how we progress from here, hopefully she won't be as needy moving forward lol

The Blaze sisters are enjoying their last full 24 hour day. Tomorrow they will sleep from 12-4 and every day moving forward as they are put on a 20-4 schedule.

This is my first time doing anything other than 24-0 with my autos so I'm excited to try something new :reading420magazine:

Catch you guys on the flipside!

I personally think 20/4 beats 24/0 for autos once they're budding. It is my assertion that once in flower, the plant needs some rest. Others will disagree and say 24/0 the whole time. Should be interesting to see if you see a difference.

The way I see it is, like you said, they all need rest. I think the ratio of time asleep to time awake with the 20-4 schedule just sounds more appropriate than any other light schedule I've considered. However....I ALWAYS mention him because he uses 12/12 for his autos and they love it, @Jack420. I want to do a run eventually with 12/12 but figured I would start small. I don't think I want to do 18/6 but the curiosity of the 12 hour schedule is tempting me.

I’m with ya just trying different things you just never know what you may find

If you guys didn't think I was loco already, this is my side project journal starting up in a couple weeks when I drop my newest autoflower, Banana Blaze.

This is a partnership with CannaPot and this particular strain comes from Dutch Passion Seeds. I will also be running a sponsored photoperiod journal featuring CannaPot's Spanish sister, Kannabia, with all new strains come late April.

In this journal we will be running 1 solo Banana Blaze autoflower in my 450W veg tent before her transition to my 480W flower tent.

As my side journals go, this will be a looser journal in terms of breakdowns but will encompass all the growing goodness as some of my more involved and elaborate journals have. Because of sponsorships, no specific product names will be mentioned here with the exception of our seed bank(s) and our nutrient sponsor.

Since I will have my auto run of 3 starting up and rolling out at the same, I wanted to get this one started so I'm not behind....we all know I like to be prepared!

This will be a fun, colorful, and energetic journal and I am hoping to showcase my newest seed sponsor to the best of my growing abilities!

I grow in my 'grow room', an addition off of our garage that was once used as my craft, sports memorabilia and whatever doesn't have a home room. It has transitioned from 6-60W full spectrum bulbs drilled into a fixture under my craft table back in June of 2021 to my current two tented, grow space masterpiece.

It is not attached to my central air and as such has its own radiant heat and I use a standing AC unit when necessary. Luckily in the winter, the heat off the tents doesn't leave me having to even turn on the heat very often.

My biggest challenge in the winter without the exhaust leaving out the window, is the increase in humidity which is alleviated quite easily by simply opening the door to the dining room and/or the window in the grow room

I wil be running her in my 24x24x60 (in) veg tent under a 300W and 150W LED system for a total of 450W.

She will transition to a 4X4X8 (ft) under 480W for flower. Her tents have 4 in inline and 6 in inline systems, respectively. They are each outfitted with 2 fans, oscillating only in flower.

She will start in seed starter mix in a 5.5 in pot before moving to her final 3 gl home @ around 2 weeks old housed with FFOF soil, castings, guano, cane sugar, and epsom.

She will get "booster shots" with a heavy cal-mag dose and toppings of castings and guano added monthly and a nutrients cocktail tea of guano, castings, epsom and cane sugar every 3-4 weeks.

She will not receive any further up-potting unless her roots outgrow her pot with her said to be, tall frame.

She will be under the loving care of @Prescription Blend nutrients throughout her life cycle with the only non organic additive of Cal-Mag. I boast about these nutrients often but I just can't do it enough...no compliments I could give truly give their results justice.

With that said......

All 35 seeds are on their way and I can't wait to drop the 1st, in our Banana Blaze, come 2 weeks from now!

Looking forward to yet another grow journey with my :420: friends and family!
I got dibs on some when it’s done

Highya Krissi,

I like the way we are growing.

Pudding is a little wet still from all the nutrient pushing but I'm happy with where we are at right now at 26 and 27 days

No more humidifier in the tent

Have a great start to your weekend!

Hey krissi good morning hope all is well... Ladies are coming along super nice.... May I ask why your removing the humidifier?
Thanks buddy, just no need for it anymore. I had it in there when they were seedlings up until yesterday. I wanted to make sure they could maintain humidity without it so I pulled it last night. This morning, all was well.. so now I'm just using the fan to manage my humidity in there.

My autos, I've noticed, generally enjoy not the most humid of conditions, at least mine have. So 55/60 for them (lights on/off) is more than enough.

How was your week?? I need to get over to your journal. I'm behind a lot of places

Their coloring is definitely on point now. Hopefully smooth sailing moving forward!

They definitely have found a little groove in coloring. Pretty close to one another in growth. I don't think I've ever had two of the same seeds not be apples and oranges with growth. I guess I have that in nutrient needs and pickiness though in Pudding

Happy smoking Friday! :passitleft:

Miss I Am Perpetually Hungry started to show me she was hungry, again, but still moist. I didn’t want a nute issue so I took the feed despite the slight droop. She will dry out.

Aphrodite is golden as usual.

Other than that, these sisters are happy! Liking the hours they are on. Liking the nutes. Liking their other journal sisters. Humidity being down to 55-58 has been working out well.

Good seeds. Good start to to this grow as they are both showing their sex (that we already knew) and I expect pre flowers by middle of next week.

Happy long weekend!
