Konk's 1st Grow: ON Canada

I like how you add your dates and shit! Did Random’s Son grow in the solo? I haven’t cloned yet. I may try that once my “squirt” is done. Right now I’m at my limit.

I had heard/read, growth hormone is at a high potency on lower branches. So I think I’ll steal a lower branch. What’s that root shit you’re talking about?

I messed up the very first page date lol, they were outside at the end of June.
This is the root juice I talked about, but for intentional cloning check out @johnnystackz profile, he has a clone thread going and uses aloe vera plant.

These I had salvaged and uppotted about 10 days later without any root.

This is recent. Random's female offspring below. Not intentionally cloned but salvaged living pieces, which are close enough lol

@Konks Dirt Empire, when planting clones we should use something like peat pods or seedling trays to keep moisture within the clone for rooting. These might or might not make it depending on rh. Mist these with RO water at 6.6 Get a solo cup and put them directly over the clone. Keeping moisture contained and giving the plant the ability to work on stabilizing rooting structure.

We want to use something so that roots can sense the water or moisture in its contained environment ultimately setting moisture to develop rooting. With the humidity dome it helps contain the humidity and keep water at the bottom so that the roots make there way out of the peat pods or trays. without room for escape roots will be bound causing death

These are salvage attempts @johnnystackz thank you for this info but this is an outdoor survival of the fittest type thing I have going on. I attempted to salvage any broken piece and most have grown. It did send me your way to see intentional cloning. :thanks:

Aloe Vera should do the trick then, I highly regard her.

Also thanks for the shout out Konks :green_heart:

@Konks Dirt Empire i will put together a detailed video with explanation to the steps in cloning as i know my first video on cloning was a bit cut to the chase. sorry about that
Don't apologize! You have a tutorial and explained the leaves, that was something you hate to ask, but you kindly explained. Do your thing, I am in will snow fly soon mode and focusing on the elements.

Maybe next July, I am getting curious about autos, too!

Autos are nice, Im really excited to flip flip flip hahah Although my photos are monsters too just depends on your patiences lol You could run both too nothing wrong with that. I feel the autos like to compete with the photos in size :D
Like i said, I love to share any bit in the kindest way possible.+ understandable :passitleft:

I think plant 5 looks fine considering what it just went through..lol.
Playing n working in the garden has been fun but I'm about ready for a break. I think I'll throw a party once this is over. A little one...just me a bowl and a beer.

Sounds like you’re going to be playing some George Thorogood! :Rasta:

Good to hear! I googled it :laughtwo: I was effing losing my mind for watching the leaves and not those pistils, but then decided to play it cool :cough:

After ice in the birdbath this morning I am just hoping to make it to harvest, then I'll celebrate. :bong: I earned this one and the cocktail. I also don't have a green house and a cloner, you earned yours, too!

Yeah, I saw that ice in the birdbath but you have a weed wagon and shelter. That'll get ya to harvest. My temps have eased up here. 70/50s with low humidity. Just in time. Still finding small patches of pm though. Vinegar water seems to do the trick when I do find it.
So what's the plan for next year? Looks like you have space outside. Ever consider a gh?

You give me confidence, jjjr! I do have a weed wagon and shelter, guess the elements are here and I can read more about harvest, drying and curing. I don't want to miss something this far in.

Nice your weather is bearable now and you have a treatment that is working. You have seen your share of lessons this season.

I would like to see how smokable this turns out before I get too into next year. I am thinking I need more information about autofowering plants. I see how close we are getting and wonder why risk this if you could finish in 15 weeks. I think yield and plant size must play a role, but I haven't dabbled in the magnitude of genetics. I might try a mix of autoflowers & photoperiod and attempt a few clones. Mr. Empire does have some old windows kicking around and has mentioned a seedling box. No rules, right...
