Reloaded
Got the Mothership reloaded. 4 different phenos of Pamalina x2. 2 different phenos of Mandarin cookies x3. And 1 Serena just for a frost litmus test. This will be my first time running these minus Serena. The Mandarin cookies were gifted to me by a fellow gromie.:thanks: I was itching to pull the trigger on them for awhile, but instead got hooked up with some cuts. Hells to the yayah. I ran the Pillow Factory from ethos, and they were fire. The Pamelina is Forum GSC x Rare Dankness #2. And Mandarin Cookies are Forum GSC x Mandarin Sunset. So this is essentially a Forum GSC cross run.(minus the 1 Serena). These are also the first time I have run forum crosses. I have done alot of OGKB stuff, but not Forum, so very excited for this run. Lets hope the Dank Gods smile upon me now.
 
There is a definite frost warning in your forecast bud! This will be one hell of a run. I do not think I have run any forum gsc crosses. I am not sure I have any Forum GSC crosses either. I have at least one Platinum GSC cross that I am yet to run as well. I am working on my first round of mendo breath crosses now. I have a Larry Bird Breath I just put into flower along with a Peanut Butter Breath. The PBB is further along and is looking pretty nice. I see a lot of differing opnions on Cookie strains and their crosses but one thing is for sure, they amost always bring the frost!

Feel free to throw up pics of your plants in this thread at anytime also.
 
So I got 3 females and 2 males from my first 5 Tangie's to be sexed. Of the 2 males 1 had stronger branches, was later to flower and had stronger smell. I had my wife smell them both and pick the smelliest 1 twice which was the same 1 I picked, so I am confident I picked the best of those 2. Now I just have to sex the other 5 and see if there is a better male, but this one seems promising so far. :passitleft:

I do not really smoke. When I do I stick to one or two strains that I know I can tolerate. My wife smokes most of what is produced and she is not all that great at describing smells or flavors (neither am I). That being said this is my first round with Dolato. She smells very sweet. I should be able to pin point it better when I have her out of the tent away from everything else. The Slurry smells like Purple Punch for the most part. When it dries it smells like wine flavored blunt wraps. Anyone that has tried it says it is tasty but none can really tell me what it tastes like lol.

Wine flavored blunt wraps sounds nice. It is hard to pinpoint flavors alot when they are a blend of flavors in my opinion. I am pretty good at it, but I cook for a living. All day I am sticking my face in boiling pots looking for smells. When I am hunting I litterally stick my face in the side of the bud until I have resin stuck on my nose. Towards the end I squeeze a lower popcorn nug and smell my fingers. When I am hunting a male I will cut the stem, and stick it up my nose, and cap the other nostril, close my eyes, and inhale. I am not sure what Purple Punch smells or tastes like, because I have not smoked anything I have not grown in years, and nobody has given me a Purple Punch cut. My tolerance is stupid high. I am not proud of it, but first thing I do is blaze with my cup of coffee in the morning. I keep a vape box at work that I hit all day. Then smoke all night when I get home. Its hard to gauge the high though. Something either makes me sleepy and gives me munchies real bad, or it's an up feeling high. That's about the best desciption I can give for highs. Lol

I have not been able to get a cut of Purple Punch either. I wanted one but the only source I had for a legit cut wanted $150 each for them! I could not bring myself to spend that on one. A lot of people say that Purple Punch smells like Hawaiian Punch or fruit punch. It is very sweet. I work in a factory with chemicals so my sense of smell is slightly dulled. I also do not have the most sophisticated palate. You are right about most everything being a mix of flavors and smells at this point and that is one reason I struggle trying to discern the nuances of most strains. That is cool you are a chef, we seem to have a fair share of them around here.

Once upon a time I had a crazy tolerance. I was smoking at least an ounce a week. Granted it was mostly commercial weed at the time. Then one day I lost my ability to smoke like I used to. Kind of a blessing and a curse I guess. Just kind of ironic that i gained the ability to grow legally after losing my ability to smoke like an indian chief lol.

As far as tolerances go I'm very protective of mine lol. I have a freezer full of rosin and shatter that I can't tell you the last time I did a dab. I've given more away than I've smoked. I'm basically a bowl a night smoker. I can't smoke on the job, I wouldn't want to either, too much thinking involved and I forget shit when I'm high.

You should see the whole plants lol! I have decent plants here and there, but my tents are a mess lol. I do not run a journal more so because I do not like the level of commitment involved. There is no way I could add as much detail as a lot of people do and without wanting to post regular update pics I feel it would move really slowly. I am also super paranoid. Even with being as legal as possible there is always that underlying fear of having unwanted visitors show up lol. Thank you for the kind words bud! I have not smoked in a while. It was bothering my lungs. I should invest in a decent vape.

I don't do straight dab or rosin anymore. I dilute with some e juice 2 to 1 juice to dab, so it is 1 3rd strength then vape it. I found this way it is only as potent as flower. I found doing dab makes it to were you can't get high on flower, and I personally love flower way more than dab. The vape is mainly for work, so that I don't stink up the kitchen. As far as getting high at work most every really good dish or app I have ever invented it was high. I get high, get the munchies and make what I call gourmet comfort food.
