King's Headband 818 - Indoor - Coco - Mars Hydro LED - Winter Grow

I’m sure it will be, haven’t had any good shatter for awhile.
That is why you need to make your own buddy grandpa tokin has a video on thread.

I just can’t do it until next winter mid winter I’ll look a building my own with the mags help.

Low power setting is all that's needed:
How to Make Homemade Rosin Dabs | Leafly
and there are a lot of youtube vids on it.

Use a vice or a clamp for even more pressure!
Also should I leave my shake the way it is or break it down finely shed ?

It’s dry right now does that matter ?

Thanks just read througbfew questions they didn’t have answers for thought I’d ask here ?

Sorry Joe, no idea. I'm sure dry would be better and given that this isn't a 20 ton press, I'd say the more broken down the better too. I wouldn't put it in a coffee grinder though!

I put the cannabis in a metal cylinder and run butane down through it to strip all the good stuff from the material. It goes into a Pyrex baking dish and I put that in a pan of hot water on my hot plate. The butane will evaporate.

Thank you

A lot of people do it this way but for people reading it that might not know just be advised that butane vapors like acetone vapors are extremely flammable and can be quite explosive. Make sure you are in a well ventilated area and do as penny advises use the water to keep the heat down.

If buy a large commercial press that would be the way to go, but with a small press or hair straightener it’s just faster for me to make a good amount concentrate using a solvent.

I have a gallon of extractohol I got about a year ago I’ll use for my next run of concentrate.
Cheapest gallon of extractohol is $80. Assuming I haven't spent additional money to recapture that, it's gone after one use. A 20 ton shop press is $190 at harbor freight, plus the cost of the aluminum blocks and the heating element probably another $200. So for under $400 you have a lifetime supply of rosin at the price of 5 gallons of extracohol, with no waiting to evaporate the alcohol.

Not that I'm getting either, just an interesting comparison :). I'm sure there are pros and cons as well. Floor space being one of them ;).
