Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie
Hiya KJC. Hmmmm, now that is some very useful info re: NPK ratios during seed formation. Thank you sincerely sir for the
I had up until this grow regularly used only equal ratio fertilizers like 20-20-20. I switched this grow mid-vegetation since I had always had persistent P and K deficiencies in the first two months that I was never able to get on top of. This grow I switched to a 20-24-16 and the plants health and growth improved 100% All of the grows using only 20-20-20 produced seeds that were generally 75% or more female and I would venture to say that I've had seed crops that had 85% female. I'd also add that the germination rates were also always 80+% even from older seeds so it's not as if the male genetics went sterile and failed or something because I also had a good 20+/- percent healthy male plants. Working the balanced nutrient ratio in at the right time, which I'm guessing for autos would generally be at late vegetative to early flowering stage would be very manageable; since it seems to me that the plants at that time 'would' be requiring a higher ratio of N uptake.
Thanks KJC, great info, great thoughts. Thank you as always for sharing.
