KelticBlue's 2017: Soil, Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunnan

My soil is cracking with life. I have a mycelium mat going under the "mulch" cover. I took some pictures but have not up loaded yet. I am going to let it cook for now.

I am thinking of doing crop rotation, maybe a run of tomatoes before my next canna-crop.
Have I lost my mind, again? prolly:lot-o-toke:

I bought 3 ball jars today should be enough storage.:surf:

Random Quote about mycelium

Mycelium are fungal threads that form a network, usually underground. Mushrooms are just their fruiting bodies. Mycelium are so tiny that one cubic inch of soil can contain enough to stretch for 8 miles. But mycelial networks can cover as much as thousands of acres, making certain varieties of fungi the largest organisms in the world, as well as some of the oldest. Fungi build soil by breaking down organic matter, and even cracking apart rocks. Besides that, fungal mycelium enter into symbiotic relationships with trees and other green plants, helping them get water and nutrients from the wider environment by surrounding and even penetrating the roots.

5 photos of the mycelium mat.

Almost the whole top surface, eating up whatever is there

I like the way these 2 turned out.

I wasn't trying to get water on the leaf so that is what happened.

pretty super excited today

Just a quick one for now got lots going on I hit the road later today. The plant got top dressed and watered in. And the blu mat got replenished. I have piccys and will document it when I get my thoughts back together.
Never used the blu mats but am interested. Please let me know how your experience with them is. Subbed as well! Really interested in the chitral as well. I'll be doing an afghani kush and gold colombian in the not too distant future.

The blu mats worked fine....As long as they are set up properly. when you first set them up I would watch them as often as possible to ensure they are dripping water at the correct rate. Not to fast or slow. It takes time to dial in, get the proper rate. I wanted a slow rate so the soil would dry then get the blu mat drip.
I have moved on to a sub irrigated planter for my watering needs so no more blu mats for now. I liked them.
I need to go away for about 5-7 days at a time so I needed a water solution whilst away. Blu mats worked pretty well.

What have you got soaking?

It is a my cannabiogen cross I made. It is not cracking.
My seed collection has me perplexed. I cannot find my NepalJam or Ace mix regular or the last PCK x KaliChina. I need to settle down and look. I am getting twitchy.

I should run a single fem now and 2 or three regulars this fall. If I only had a brain.
:dude-knocking:

I found them all. And my seed cracked. I am going to use a peat pod to sprout in. Maybe a solo cup then transplant. Work on the garden skills this round.

to... Make my thoughts even cloudier. I find I still have some auto CBG fems (3) and 4 of my original PCKxKali-China.
I got a bunch of fems from freebies as well.

:yummy:
Barneys Farm - Pineapple Chunk
Nirvana Seeds - Pre 99 Big Bud
French Touch Seeds - Frencheese

:ciao:see ya later everybody i got to get growing, but where am i going to store that harvest?

I got a sprout in my 3 gallon fabric planter. :headbanger:
I have moved it up a bit closer to the light. Probably about 2 days old here and about 20 inches to the lights.
This is a just for fun and see what happens grow. ACE x CBG home-made cross..

The sprout life

distance to light is closer now going to harden it off over the next 3-4 days. Then give it more intensity. Intensity is about half right now on the dimmer. Temps at 80'F, RH changes all the time right about 40-50%.

So............ not that i use tap water for my babies i do use it on occasion on my non canna plants, at this time of year i think it is better-er - - - -> March 25 thro- May 6 19, the disinfectant in tap water will temporarily switch from chloramine to chlorine...
the PH is 7.5 to 7.8, so alkaline. the plants dont like it so much.

not much change in the sprout, waiting game while the container dry out.

Started another seed soak.:goodluck:

It is going to get into the earthbox, figuring 45 day veg. and whatever training necessary to keep in the tent.

It's Zamadelica pollinated by a fast flowering green pheno of Panama. They all seem to be finishing in 9-10 weeks, so fairly quick for a pure sativa.
:woohoo:

Congrats on your little ones - hope they all wear a dress when they get older!

GL with the little ones.

Love your trichome shots.

Are you using your btm watering pot this round?
