KelticBlue's 2017: Soil, Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunnan

These are from a couple of days ago. I have company in town, doing the touristy thing.

I have to start watching the trich condition and such as the plant is ripening.
putting on some size. getting thick in the middle.

I see it thinking about putting out some foxtails.....

Depth of field, the next two.
Depth of field

little lower buds doing quite well, frost everywhere

OooLala.

I have a good feeling about this one. :ganjamon:

And well you should. :high-five:

Loved the depth of field photo. :hugs: Nice crisp hairs standing out. That’s what I’m shooting for. Lol!

My Zam x Pan’s a beast keltic! She’s gonna have to share her tent again so I can flip my Candy Cane, but look at her!

My depth of field. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Have fun with your visitors. I was hoping to get out that way before I moved but it looks like it’ll have to be part of a future round of stops. :hugs:

My Zam x Pan’s a beast keltic!

I think it's a good canna cultivator lesson here for me. I see the stretchy Zam of Morglie and the wonderful filled in branches of his Panama both expressing as they should in harmony. I can totally see Zam traits and as well differences. Far out.

No problem, just make sure you stop about 4-6 weeks after harvest. It is when the stash jars are fullest. :ganjamon:

If ya like to walk and go to free museums, that is what we do to visitors.
... Oh yeah, except the history of canna museum, we haven't gone yet. It is new.
:surf: I have to get through the next 2 months first.

Sometimes when the cuckoo's crying
When the moon is half way down
Sometimes when the night is dying
I take me out and I wander around

Zamaldelica!
7 weeks in flower, first pistol, 8 weeks since flip to 11/13.

Looks like a seed in the formation. I see the ambers of ripeness in the trichs. I have also been pretty abusive with the plant so some of the amber may be damage from an less than careful gardener.

:thumb:

I would think it's damage related as opposed to finishing.

I am hoping for a tester bud soon. I have 2 weddings 2nd weekend of september so after that i got sometime to harvest and whatnot. So it will be ~ten weeks. Far Reds helping it along, I think. I can start to smell it thru the tent and filter, or it is in my heado_O

Broke out the DSLR for some playing around.
Editing a couple of fotos today.

Big bunch of flower

I think this is one of the top branches

A lower bud

Looks like your Zammy is coming right along Keltic. Ran my zammy and golden tiger 24/7 for 50 days. Ooops. They are in flower for a week now and will be going to the flower tent in a few weeks. Kinda tripping out that they might be huge. I can always prune them back some lol

Afternoon KelticBlue- high humidity always worries me in flower. Hopefully things begin to get back down into lower ranges pretty soon.

I have only ever lost one bud to PM. Sad sad thing ...:(
The mid atlantic here has been all wet these last couple of months. I have the dehumidifier going seems to help a little.
I might take the lesson after this year and not have flowers until October. Probably never learn.
Thanks Sparks! :ciao:

Huge props on those photos KB. Little miss Zamaldelica is sticky looking....drool worthy for sure.
:bongrip:

Thanks Jim. Really pleased with it.
The smell is getting stronger. Nothing specific but sour and musty.

I am going to try a different lens on the DSLR see what it can do maybe break out the tripod. I have not used it in almost a year, all I remember is it is a pretty good telephoto.
Today I used the lens that came with the camera body.

That is excellent I have been meaning to check in on your ZamalDelica. Looks like they had a very nice veg. Those branches should shoot out and fill in very nicely. It is going to look fantastic.
:slide:

I took some Photos last week.....Then i will get some of this week for my trich watch. I got foxtails, pistils browning and all sorts. Had a busy stressful week. my head is killing me. I plan to take a tester bud todau or tomorrow, see if missus likes the Zammy.

feckin cat hairs always.

lower bud

top bud

trichs still good

general mayhem

more later

I think I have about 10 more last week photos. I took a test bud from low down. smell is sour citrus, really very sour has been the smell all along but it is taking a sweeter citrus note. A stem rub was very menthol or eucalyptus and more pleasant than the sour bud smell. The smell is loud and long lasting but only when rubbing against it. smell is mild just while growing there.

now for a look from last week......

the leaves have started to brown and dry up since this picture

some of these buds are bigger than they look

the foxtail continues, particularly shown in this bud

the under bud-lettes

there is a good bit getting light under here

now my baby, showing cloudy

up close and in comfort

Oooo, yummy

Same bud top is easy to shoot in the front of tent
