Good morning :420: I hope your morning is bright and sunny, We had a wind and rain storm last night all the stuff on the front porch ended up on the front lawn and lost power about 2;00 am. I did get my PM from @SeedsMan saying I have Banana Jealousy seeds are in the mail. I would like to thank @SeedsMan for the chance to grow their seeds and thank them for being a sponsor. I just hope I can pull the grow off.:circle-of-love:🍋

Are you going to start them inside then grow them outdoors?
And when you said your light comes on after a power failure was it on before the power failure? Or was it off then turned on after power restored ?

Yes, I am going to start them indoors then outdoors it goes. I turn my lights on manually, but it can be programed to go on automatically. I will have to take a look at the light to see if it is something I has set up without knowing. 🍋

If you can't stop it from happening and you lose power on a regular basis you could put it on a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) they are generally used for computers but it will keep power to the fitting stopping it from powering up when it shouldn't, depending on the size of the UPS it could even run a small light for a couple of hours

You're better off having the light on its own plug-in timer than having it come on when you don't want it to.
I have a question I see a lot of good growers say a plant looks hungry. My question is how you tell a plant is hungry. What do you look for. 🍋
Most folks mean it's starting to look less green more yellow. In veg it usually first shows when the lower leaves start to fade because the plant isn't getting enough nitrogen for the fast growth during that stage.

These petunias are hungry, you can tell by the lighter lower leaves on some of them
I just transplanted them & gave them some 10-52-10 transplant fert

I had the light s off and they went on I thought that was a bad thing when it is lights out.🍋
Yeah that's not good. Here's what I like.
A light that times on/off and if power is interrupted will know it's original time and depending on when in the cycle, powers up to the action asked, on or off knowing the proper time of day until power returns Yours may. My timers do that. If I lose power and I'm home I set up a battery lantern to keep some light in the tent while waiting for power to return.
You may want a timer in line with the light even though it has one, to keep it off when off is called for.
