We will see I am happy with just seedlings right now. If I am going to do and indoor grow I will need to add a few things to my tent like a fan and I think a air filter. Being it is only a 2x2x3 tent I would think I would need to grow an auto. In any case it will need to be a small plant. Do you control size by strain and pot size? I do not know as I have been an outdoor grower. Plus I have the fear I will really screw up the grow. :lot-o-toke: 🍋

I'd grow a photo and control when to flip based on size, and train it flat. With an auto you don't know how big those are going to get...Jon sized or Shed sized?

And I'd control size by training and timing. I don't believe pot size is a reliable restrictor of plant size, and the don't sell many varieties guaranteed to come under 12" tall. :)

I used to have a 3x3x3 room as my veg room (used as a flower room on occasion) I can assure you that decent sized plants are totally possible.

Pot size will help slow them down a bit, but is not a sure thing. I agree w/ @InTheShed about topping/training to keep em flat, as well as timing your flip to make sure they don't overrun the space.

You got this Keith! 👍

These kids nowadays have no clue but I guess we turned out ok.. 😂
We turned out Sparkey. Life's weird!
I gues I am going to have to show my wife (Lori) how to turn off my light in my tent because I came home and found the light was unplugged. I do not want her just turning them off without a reason. 🍋
When you just pull the plug without turning it down first it will give a good arc at the plug if it's up high.

Congratulations 🎈🍾 Keith on your nomination and fingers crossed 🤞 that this will be your month. CL🍀. :thumb: :goodluck:
Thanks Capt. but I never win. 🍋

Thanks Preston we will see.🍋

Still waiting for my sunflower seeds to break ground. I gave up on the germinating in water and wet paper towel. I should start it again just to reassure myself I can do it. Cold here low 30's and I hate it, but the days are getting longer and the sun higher. Not too much longer and I can start my seeds. Hope they come out ok it is only my second time popping weed seeds. 🍋

Thanks, Shed I do have a heating pad so I will hopefully be able to get the soil temp. to 70 degrees. It is at around 65 right now. I check it with a laser gun. I believe the temp is pretty accurate. If it is in a few degrees, I have something to work with. 🍋

I find that it's sometimes better to stand the heating pad on its edge and curl it into a circle (a paper clip or binder clip will keep it closed and upright) and put the cup in there. That way you warm the soil top to bottom rather than hot on the bottom and cold on top.

I germinate in a shoebox (any small box will do) with a hold cut in the top for a CFL light bulb. I find those things put out just the right amount of heat for germinating.
