I have a question I just got back from the grow store looking for enough nutes to get me though another 3 or 4 weeks. They had Advance nutrients but only in the 1 liter bottles and that's to much as I do not plan on using AN my next grow. What I need is Micro, Grow and Bud candy. Can anyone give me advice as to what I should get to replace these nutes, something I can use next grow. The guy at the store kept giving me who knows what to replace the nutes I need but again large bottles big bucks and I do not know if they will carry over too next spring. I would appreciate any help I can get. Just do not want to use AN again on my next grow. Cannot go through amazon as they take to long. I learned a new lesson plan ahead.
There's not much you can buy that will be just 3 weeks worth of flowering, so anything you get you'll be using for your next grow as well.

Now's the time to consider what direction you want to go with nutrients. I mentioned couple of sponsors in my post back here, and there are many others as well. And prices will vary wildly!

I am going to stay outdoors as my wife is dead set against an indoor grow and I have 40 years invested in her, so I am not going to rock the boat. I want to stay simple and local I will check out Westfield feed and Smithe's I know they carry Fox Farm and others. Thanks, Shed.

If you go with Fox Farms just get the basic "trio" of Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom. They sell a lot of supplements you don't need, though you might need some cal-mag to go with those. I liked Botanicare calmag+ 2-0-0 when I used Fox Farms.

I'm seeing proper weed feed in just about every store these days selling plant food. Agg stores and tractor supply might be a place.

Have any of you heard of Cutting Edge Solutions? They have a 3 part base micro, grow and bloom plus flowering stage nutes. They are suppose to call me we will see. The prices are good better than FF. All I have now is the NPK micro 6.0.0 grow 2.1.6 and bloom 0.6.5. I am trying to get their guaranteed analysis and I can get it right down the street. At Smithland.

May I recomend @Sierra Natural Science 5 Star Grow Kit. Everything you need from seedling to harvest with pest control. $19.99

They seem to be selling an 11-bottle line from their website. How many do they say you really need to grow?
Not sure yet. I think it will be like AN about 4 or 5 at the most. From what I saw their prices at 13$ a bottle thats a quart bottle, the base is 5 10 and 5 ml per gallon but I have to PH the solution were as AN has PH perfect nutes. Not a problem. They did not have any of their flower nutes a the store but they will be there in a couple days. I hope they call me.

I just ran an analysis on their system and nothing is providing calcium, magnesium, or sulfur. Their Kit confuses me.

You don't need to spend money on pH Perfect since you're not running a hydro grow. AN nutes are pretty pricey compared to other lines, and they all contain pretty much the same ingredients in different amounts.

I was wondering after looking at that chart if it’s calcium deficiency.

If the browning starts as rust spots in the middle of the leaves that would be a Ca def. First starting at the edges it could be a lot of things.

I'm really surprised at what's not in the SNS Kit I have to say. Ca, Mg, and S are three of the most important micro nutrients and they're all left out.
The browning is just the edges and it has not worsened sense I changed my nutes schedule. The plant just looks tired but healthy.

Micro has 0.5 calcium +0.2 magnesium

As the weather cools down the plant slows down, since it knows winter is on its way. Nutrient uptake begins slowing down even at the mid 60s, where magnesium uptake is inhibited.
