You can’t fix a little spot in your garage? I know it’s not optimal for growing but you could maybe do a plant 🪴. CL🍀
I would have to heat it in the winter as it gets cold here. Much like it does where you are Capt.

Well, my wife just screwed up my cooking time, she moved the insta pot and let out the steam. So, I will reset it for 30 min and see what happens. Dam it. She should know when it comes to my weed leave it alone. If she does not like it tough shit.

Ez there Amigo you don’t want to end up like me. Tbh I don’t like anyone messing around with my weed or growing supplies. My Mothers caregiver has to look through everything I have. She’s always moving 💩 around so I can’t find it to. Smh CL🍀

I'll find Sweet Sue's post on the topic later [below] but I do know that folks with kidney issues can't take NSAIDs because they're hard on the kidneys, where acetaminophen is hard on the liver.
Morning shed :)

I’m not sure that’s actually true regarding can’t and kidney issues. I mean there’s kidney issues and there’s kidney issues lol. In my understanding NSAIDs can be safely prescribed to people with CKD. It’s all about that golden benefits vs the risk balance. And paracetamol as we call it here is only “hard” on the liver if you overdose on it. I mean if someone was in liver failure it wouldn’t be the analgesic of choice. But overall acetaminophen/paracetamol is safe as houses when used properly.

Is THC a drug in the conventional sense anyway?
Yes it is a drug so I am going to guess yes when ingested it will be metabolised through the liver.

I’m not sure that’s actually true regarding can’t and kidney issues.
My dad had low functioning kidneys toward the end of his days and his doctor made sure that the hospital kept him clear of ibuprofen and the like.

"Ibuprofen isn't usually a problem for the liver, but it can be hard on the kidneys.

"Because of how ibuprofen is broken down in the body, it doesn’t usually cause liver damage...

"However, ibuprofen can be hard on the kidneys, especially for older adults and those with kidney disease. If you have kidney problems, ibuprofen may not be the safest option."

The key words are all there, shed, “usually” “it can be”, “may”. It’s not definitive.

Obviously when it comes to end stage kidney failure, end stage of life, an over the counter ibuprofen ain’t gonna be the pain reliever of choice lol.

It’s all about benefits vs risk. That’s all I’m saying.

Well thank you Dr. Shed and Nurse practitioner Trala. I am glad I do not take a lot of acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
Made me lol

🤩🤩🤩

But on a serious note, that’s my point. You wouldn’t go to a bakery looking for advice on how to fix your car, so I wouldn’t advise members to seek serious medical advice or pharmacological advice on an online weed forum.

Shed is no doctor and I’m no where near being a Nurse Practitioner. Anyone with a keyboard can find a Source to try and prove they’re right. It’s not about being right. It’s about being safe. Being responsible. We get stuff wrong, or I know I do. Some members in here might believe what they read without research based on their trust for a member. That worries me. My advice not that anyone asked, if you want pharmacological advice, talk to a pharmacist.

O shit I have a headache what do I take.
Well since you asked, I’d recommend a cup of cement so you can harden the fuck up!

Lolllling!

I certainly hope no one took my post about NSAIDs being hard on the kidney and acetaminophen being hard on the liver as medical advice. Nor should you trust GoodRX (a prescription drug provider here in the US) in place of your doctor.

This conversation has certainly gotten off the topic of when to use coconut oil and when to use EVOO. I was just reposting SweetSue's information from her research.
