KB Follows The Hi Brix Road In DBHBB

What I like about this strain it didn't smell potent in flower so I could run without the carbon filter but I can smell it now it's drying. Guessing most of the terps are limonene. (I have no idea what I'm talking about :laugh::laugh:)

Alright finally got a weight of the buds after removing them from the stems. I will probably leave them sitting open to because they were a little moist. So I suspect I'll lose a little bit more weight but I'm happy with this and my trim style is if it has trichomes it stays. This is for personal consumption so not entering it into a bud contest.

VERY nice looking plant dude :-O how long did she flower for? BTW, I share your trim style :P!!!
How do the buds smell now compared to when they were on the plant? Obviously it would be less intense, but do they smell the same as when they were on the plant? My last harvest lost its citrus smell after a week :( I think that was a drying too quick problem though.

It was a quick flower only like 45 days, being a CBD I didn't want to let it go too long from some guidance from other members.

It doesn't smell as much like lemon now, but hopefully after a good 2 week cure it will come back. It's hard for me to determine smells because mine is so terrible, I've burned most of my senses in my nose working with chlorine.

I really tried to leave plenty of leaves on the plant when I hang dry to slow down the drying process.
 
There were a lot of new first for me in this grow.

This strain seemed to grow mostly popcorn nugs which to some people isn't appealing. I'm not sure if it was genetics or me. There were a lot of new things for me this grow.

New growing medium docs kit
New tent
New light setup

I will only get better from here guys thanks for the kind words :rollit:

It'll most likely level out when as the more volatile terpenes evaporate and chlorophyl levels decrease.

1-3 moths cure is where the gold is at, the more sharp in-your-face terps even out and more delicate notes will appear.
The smell/taste becomes much better and more complex and the inhale, exhale and aftertaste are much more clearly pronounced.

Probably genetics if your temps are not crazy high, some strains/phenos just have fluffy flowers, doesn't mean it's bad at all, just more annoying to handle :)

Thats a very quick flower! So do people harvest CBD strains early to limit how much THC is in the CBD bud? I would never have thought of that o.0 very clever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I harvested my SLH x Bubba plants, the smell wasnt very present in the jar as I said, but as soon as the buds were put in a grinder, the smell comes back briefly :P
 
Smoke report: I can definitely say this is the most flavorful and greasy I've grown yet. When picking up the buds they're just sticky and have a lemony-chem sort of smell. Aromas aren't overpowering but you can taste it in the smoke. Since it is a CBD with a relatively low thc it doesn't get you high. Feel some relaxation while smoking and it is VERY smooth. I think it would be great mixed with a high thc strain in a joint.

I'm really happy with what I've put out with the kit and I will only get better.

Next up will be 1 black cherry punch from in-house and 1 blueberry seedsman. I've just dropped the beans in rapid rooters directly in 1 gal of first run soil. Not much to report yet but I'm ready to take off running.

I have two new sprouts above ground today. They aren't anything to look at but give em time.
