Ok, pulled the lady out of the tent and got some shots of the plant and trich shots. Trichs all over the plant seem milky with few amber, so seems in the harvest window. Just weird that there are so many white hairs....

I have to say the part I'm most excited about is to get in there and look at the roots lol.

What does the trichs look like?

As far as I've read you want to harvest CBD strains before you get any amber trichs.

This is interesting, haven't heard that before. Do you think the faster finish time would reduce the amount of weight?

AC/DC, as I understand, is a MK Ultra x G13 Haze cross, so it's mostly Sativa. Many of the Sativas will still show white hairs and many times the trichomes never go amber, even when ready to harvest. I'd start sampling, if you haven't already! ;)
 
Hey Killer! It's really looking good. I'm looking at the trich pics and am seeing mostly clear and cloudy but no ambers, must be the pics. Either way, I'd see if you can let them go for 7-10 days to get a little. More bulk out of em but I'm sure you could take em today if you wanted. Definately take samples.

I was planning on letting them go another week if I can, will try and keep an eye on the tops.

Might have to bust out the dehydrator for a sample, not sure what to expect with a CBD strain tho.

Maybe chop the most mature stuff and let 'er ride awhile longer.

The phenos that are ready in 7 weeks certainly tend to yield less than those that finishes in 10 weeks, but I wouldn't let a plant ready for harvest go 3 weeks longer and risk mold or have to pick out hundreds of withered leaves from within the buds :)

I have a Cannatonic which is AC/DC is a phenotype of and doing a little research on seedfinder I discovered this:
Resin Seeds - Cannatonic
The best of both worlds, a phenotype selected from the hybrid cross between a female MK Ultra (F1) and the all time famous G13 Haze male. Grows like an Indica, smells like a Sativa and renders you... Cannatonic!

Updated Information: We are happy to announce that we can finally and officially clear up the controversy of the mess that was the lineage of our CBD queen, Cannatonic. Not MK-Ultra x G13 as we assumed before, we now know that the real genetics of Cannatonic are Reina Madre x NYCD.

I agree, I think it was not only too concentrated a super Drench or rescue Drench... can’t remebe right now, but think my lights had something to do with it as well. I noticed all the tops were burnt up but the cola tips lower down had almost zero burn.
