JustMeds R & D

I am having a hell of a time keeping the Durban's happy. That is one in the middle in the back. The leaves always look droopy on them. I can not keep them standing for more then 24 hours. I have dried them down a lot. I have kept them more moist, them bitches are just not happy. They do seem to be heavy feeders.

Hey @NoobyMacDooby have you seen and or considered using Doc Buds high brix blend off organic soil/nutes? Its really easy, cost effective and the results are off the chart!

Yes I'm aware of it and would love to try it but I'm based in South Africa and the exchange rate on currencies, postage plus it potentially not making it past custom is a bit of an issue. A really good local grower has been helping me with soil builds and organic feedings though. Bit of a problem on our side with getting all these nice products you kids in the US have access too. I'm also doing DWC and I've only got access to the 3 part nutes and a sort of PK booster.

Not sure about indoor but they love hot humid conditions outside. The area the landrace originated from is humid AF and has average temps of 23 to 27 in winter. We use to go there on holiday during winter it was so hot.

That is such helpful info right there. Now I need to figure out how to have 2 different flowering environments in the same room. I am thinking I can button up the other flower tent and maybe get it closer to what it wants.

Well we had a patient try the cob last week. i gave them 1.75g to ingest some and smoke some. I got notice today it never made it to be smoked. They took half and loved it, took the other half the next day. Now they want more.

I also made up a batch of Fresh Harvest Oil (FHO) from the trim I had in the fridge. There was not a single bud in the batch and let me tell you 4ml is a very good dose. I could give some details if anyone is interested.

Glad to help for once! DP is such a good smoke and it makes me a little sad thinking about the seeds I use to just throw away.

Here is the gang all spread out for a bit of dry out time before back in the cobatron. Left to right is:

Sucker Punch 71g
Super Lemon Haze 61g
Kwazulu 61g

The SLH & Kwaz were just placed in the bag and vac sealed, no corn husk at all.

I am curious, when you guys check the trichomes on your plants are you looking at the sugar leaves or are you looking at the calyx's for the determination?

I've read they are checking calyxes..... Sugar leaves turn first.

I check 'em all. The tips and edges of lower leaves will always turn first (other than damaged tissues), so I compare deterioration on those buds to the new calyx production at the top. If I see amber on healthy tissue near the top, I know chop will be soon, or now. The lower stuff will always have some amber.
