JustMeds R & D

The 2 plants in the front right are both in gro-bags in crates. Maybe its me, but they do seem to be more vibrant. That latest addition to the flower tent is the White Widow.

Funny you mention the grow bag in crate. My one plant that is in a crate is going wild. It isn't a real grow bag tho. One of those blue ones from a big store haha. Coincidence? Who knows.....but it a few inches taller and a bit bushier then its sisters it seems.

P.S. The flower tent looks amazing.

Your dedication to science is admirable JM. Its a good thing they've made advancements to organ transplanting, it will surely save you all the scars. lol.

Can we get a little report on the chew?

I'm really impressed with the staggered growth in the flower tent. You've got that organized really well. Good job.

Don't see any scars in the future. It was not a blast as some have reported. It was more of a relaxed 4 hours, then it was bed time, it was late not that I was blasted. It has some effects for sure. It has been said this is more for the Sativa's then others. That could be some of it. Will I be trying it again, YES. I think .5g may be next dose. I am really curious to smoke some to see the flavor and harshness.

The tent is more the soil and letting Mother Nature do her thing.

Please tell me that isn't your grow light in the second picture....

No crate.....

Crate....

I've often suspected that the flexible nature of fabric pots is detrimental to soil biota. I don't understand why "air pruning" is considered a good thing. I also get roots in plastic pots.....

I don't see the need for fabric and fabric pots have been a common denominator for people who have problems.......

Having said that, keeping them in a crate may very well mitigate those issue to an extent. In the meantime, I'll stick with my hard, black plastic pots.

Do you have any other hunches to what was causing the issue's others were having in the fabric pots? With evaporation I could see maybe a 1 degree cooler soil temp in fabric then plastic, and I do think that is a stretch. I think the plants started from seed may benefit from the initial main tap root getting air pruned a bit quicker in a fabric pot then plastic, again just a hunch I have no proof.

I honestly don't know for sure, but I suspect that it's much harder to develop a good rootball in a fabric pot, due to them always dying off when they hit air.....

It's very important to have an abundance of roots if we want to have an abundance of flowers. Too often people just look at leaves....

I have done well in the plastic. Just looking to get more fine hair roots and less of the big garden hose feeder roots. I will know more in a while when I can dissect some of the root balls from the fabric pots.

I go right down to damp even in bloom, no wilt at all but I am sure they would not go another 24 hours without showing some wilting. If in doubt that they will make it I water otherwise its the next day.
